Workouts can be exciting as well as
scary when you're just starting out. But don't worry- you're not alone! Nobody gets it right in the first few days. We've all been beginners in the gym, and we've all made mistakes & learned from them. To help you start out stronger, let's look at 5 common
mistakes to avoid in the gym:
1) No pre-workout warm-up or stretching: Warm-ups prepare your body for working out by raising the temperature and increasing blood flow to the muscles.
2) Not hydrating: You sweat during workouts, thus losing fluids from your body. Make sure you sip on water before, during and after workouts to maintain your fluid levels and keep your performance levels high.
3) No rest in between sets: Resting between sets allows your muscles to restore energy for the next set, boosting your performance and, thus, gains. The ideal rest time is between 2 and 5 minutes after each set!
4) No progressive overloading: As you get stronger, it is important to keep changing your workouts and progressing in them. This keeps your muscles challenged and helps you become stronger.
5) Ego lifting: Lifting super heavy weights may satisfy your ego, but doing so incorrectly also increases your risk of injury, reduces your gains, and leads to bad form habits.
Now that you know what mistakes to avoid at the gym, go ahead and crush your workouts the right way! And don't forget to share these tips with your friends

Have you been experiencing constipation since you started your diet?
Constipation is a common issue today, and your diet might be contributing to it. But does that mean you must suffer from this condition for as long as you're on a diet? Of course not!
Here are some simple steps you can take to prevent constipation and still stay on track:
1) First up, let's talk about protein. While it's an essential nutrient, consuming too much protein at once can be tough on your digestive system and lead to constipation. So, if you're increasing your protein intake, do it gradually.
2) Next, make sure you're staying hydrated. Drinking plenty of water helps to soften stools and move waste through your system more easily.
3) Another important factor is sleep. When you're sleep-deprived, your body can become stressed, leading to constipation and other digestive issues. So, try to get 7-8 hours of sleep each night!
4) Lastly, make sure you're getting enough fibre. Fibre is crucial for healthy digestion, as it helps to bulk up stools and move waste through your system more easily. Great sources of fibre include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes.
Just remember to listen to your body and talk to a qualified healthcare professional if you're experiencing any persistent digestive issues.
Keeping your digestive system healthy and happy while dieting is possible: all you need to do is follow these tips!

The deadlift is a powerful exercise that helps you build strength & pack some serious muscle. But did you know that the key to unlocking that power lies in the deadlift grip?
Mastering the grip will not only activate the right muscles but also lead you towards your goals faster! There are 3 main types of deadlift grips... and if you're wondering which is best for you, you've come to the right place! Let's find out:
A) The Overhand Grip: It's also known as the "clean grip" as it's similar to the hand position used in hang cleans and power cleans. This grip can be particularly beneficial for those looking to improve their performance in Olympic lifts.
B) The Hook Grip: Many lifters find this grip easier than the more traditional overhand grip. If you struggle with maintaining your grip using the standard thumb placement, the hook grip might be a good option for you!
C) The Mixed Grip: With your hands facing opposite directions, the bar can't roll out of your grip, making it easier to hang on.
It's important to remember that consistency and comfort are key when it comes to deadlifts, no matter which grip you choose. So, if one grip feels more comfortable for you, stick with it. As long as you're able to maintain good form, you'll see great results! C

Here's a rough estimate of what 400
calories look like for these 3 different types of food. We're now
gonna talk about caloric density.
When you're dieting, the best way to overcome the struggles of
being hungry all the time is to eat foods, which have high
volume with low calories. Vegetables are great in the sense that you can literally stuff yourself, and you would've only eaten 400 calories. Whereas if you'd stuff yourself with beef or
something higher in fat, you'd definitely break the 1000 calorie benchmark. All oil types are sure calorie dense, so make sure to be careful with the amount of oil you consume.
When bulking however, you want to make sure you eat caloric
dense meals, which will help you reach your daily caloric goal.
Peanut butter or just nuts and grains are caloric dense and packed with great health properties.
