Felicitations Galore for UP’s para badminton winners
National para Badminton championship held at Odisha had throngs of players and winners from the state of Uttar Pradesh who were whole heartedly felicitated in Gaurav Khanna Excellia Badminton Academy inside Excellia School on Saturday. The prestige was bagged in the wheel chair category wherein UP bagged 2golds and 3 silver medals by Winner of Laxman AwardAbu Hubeida and Shashank Kumar who were primary participants.
The championship witnessed UP bagging 2gold, 3 silver and 10 bronze medals respectively.Among different categories the medals were won by Nihal Gupta, Suman Rawat, Hamid Salmani, Surajuddin Ahmad, Ranjeeta Maurya , Kanak Singh to name a few. They were felicitated by Coach of Indian Para Badminton team Mr Gaurav Khanna, Director of Excellia School Mr Asheesh Pathak, Head of Excellia Sports Academy Mr Praveen Pandey, International Player Mr Chirag Baretha and General Manager Mr Shekhar Varshney. To boost their spirits coach Gaurav Khanna inspired everyone with his humble and motivational words speaking about the challenges faced by the para players however with mental strength and focus we need to chase our dreams so that we can make our state and our nation proud of our endeavours . Speaking on that moment the Director of Excellia School Mr Asheesh Pathak was all praises for the perseverance and determination of these players.
Among those who were felicitated were Mithilesh Verma , Atul Kumar Sharma, Nilesh Yadav , Akash Anand, Ashutosh Dubey , Ruchi Trivedi , Anubhav Sagar Tevtiya , Ravindra Kumar Singh , Manisha , Manoj Chauhan, Abhishek Dixit, Jhalkesh Kumar, Maneesh Kumar, Sangeeta Yadav, Santosh Kumar Gupta, Prahlad Mukesh Saini , Deepak Jwala . The players were presented certificates for their national competition.The event also witnessed the presence of Badminton Coach Aditya Singh, Joy Gupta, mentors and players of Gaurav Khanna Excellia Badminton Academy.

Excellia School Congratulates Pramod Bhagat for Bagging Padmashri

It was a proud moment for Excellia School and Excellia Sports Academy when Indian Paralympic Badminton Player Pramod Bhagat was honoured with Padma Shri Award by honourable President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind.
Pramod Bhagat is the first Indian to bag gold medal in Para Badminton category wherein he paved his way to the gold in men’s singles SL-3 category.
Excellia School’s Director Mr. Asheesh Pathak and Sports Academy Head Mr. Praveen Pandey expressed their contentment and happiness because they have seen Bhagat showcasing his utter perseverance when he did his extensive practice sessions under his mentor Mr. Gaurav Khanna in Gaurav Khanna Excellia Badminton Academy.
