Hello everybody, this is GM. Jimmy R. Jagtiani, Founder and Father of Taekwondo in India now also Editor and Author of this Taekwondo TextBook 2019.
The Taekwondo, was released on 14th June 2019 by Hon’ble Brajesh Pathak, Minister of Law and Justice, U.P.
In preparing of this Taekwondo Textbook. It took me almost ten years to complete it. I have endeavored to use maximum text on 250 pages with 1000 pictorial sequences having a special focus on the latest techniques through a systematic arrangement of photographs, so that the reader can begin his / her training immediately without spending too much of time in content learning.
After forty five (45) years of my experience in the Art of Taekwondo as Founder and Father of Taekwondo in India and after qualifying as an International Master Instructor in 1982 (Korea) and International “Olympic” Referee in 1983 (Denmark), it has been my desire to write a comprehensive “Taekwondo Textbook” on the Art of Taekwondo for the benefit of those who do not have the opportunity to train under a dedicated Master.
Although there are many books on Martial Art such as Judo, Karate, Kung-fu etc, but not on Taekwondo. This is the first “Taekwondo Textbook” in India, which spots light on a series of scientific researches on Taekwondo including a wide range of techniques for the Instructors and Trainees as well.
