Recently, we had an amazing experience with a client - I felt I must share this story.
We get many sales calls in a day - from partners and customers. About a year ago, we got a call from a large government organisation. The requirement was simple: A conferencing room solution with clear audio and video.
We thought we could easily impress them with our solution. But…reality is often very different from imagination.
“We’ll get back to you” was the response - what I usually read as the kiss of death. But we waited with bated breath - hoping for the best. The next we heard, the client was taking multiple demos from various competitors.
Through the grapevine, we heard that another firm was close to winning the deal. Our team's mindset turned negative, "The case is over, let’s move on."
But then, surprise surprise, the client gave us a call back. They requested another demo from us since they were dissatisfied with the solutions they had seen from others.
We did it - again. They liked it - nay, they loved it.
In the end, they became our valued client - a relationship we have loved and nurtured.
Our boys proved it once again: Sometimes, you don’t need to be the first choice. You just need to be the right choice.

Building the next generation of Pro AV professionals in India 🇮🇳
For years, the vision of bringing industry and academia closer together has been part of ongoing conversations. On 19 August 2026, that vision moved from discussion to action, with ICT Academy and AVIXA formally coming together through an MOU.
A key part of this journey has been the continued dialogue between stalwarts like Mr. Srikanth V, CEO of ICT Academy, and Mr. T.S. Gopalkrishnan, Regional Director at AVIXA, with the strong backing of industry leaders like Ashwin Desai, Managing Director, A&T Video Networks. These conversations brought the two ecosystems together around a shared goal: building a stronger Pro AV talent pipeline for India.
The collaboration will create meaningful opportunities for students to gain industry exposure and build relevant technology skills across Professional Audio-Visual (AV) Systems, Audio and Video Technologies, AV over IP, Digital Signage, Collaboration and Conferencing, Control and Automation, Immersive Technologies, Streaming and Content Delivery, and AV System Design and Integration.
As part of this vision, A&T Video Networks will establish Centers of Excellence across engineering institutions and deliver hands-on training, providing practical exposure to video collaboration, AV integration, and real-world technology deployment.

“When Onam Travelled Beyond Walls”
