Reshmi Group has stepped forward to Afrin Jabee ,a swimmer of Midnapore Swimming Club,financial assistance of Five lakh rupees has been provided for her Catalina Channel swim attempt , under the supervision of the District Magistrate of Paschim Medinipur District and by virtue of the post Hony. President of Midnapore Swimming Club Sri Bijin Krishna, IAS.
Bhaskar Choudhary, head of the Reshmi group and Bijin Krishna, IAS District Magistrate as well as Hony. President of Midnapore Swimming Club , handed over the cheque to Afrin.

Shreyan Das is a registered swimmer of the District Swimming Association, Paschim Medinipur.

He secured 3rd place in the event of 100 m. Breast Stroke in group iii Boys

In the State Age group Swimming Selection trial 2026 at Bengal Swimming Academy, Beliaghata Subhash Sarovar Swimming Poo,l Kolkata.

Shreyan is a regular practicing swimmer of Midnapore Swimming Club, under the guidance of Himadri Sekhar Kar, Jit Sekhar Kar and Seikh Akbar
