CONSTIPATION:
Constipation is a common digestive issue characterized by infrequent bowel movements, hard or lumpy stools, and difficulty passing stools.
*Causes of Constipation:*
1. Poor diet (low fiber, high processed foods)
2. Dehydration
3. Lack of physical activity
4. Medical conditions (hypothyroidism, diabetes, IBS)
5. Medications (antihistamines, antidepressants)
6. Hormonal changes (pregnancy, menopause)
*Symptoms:*
1. Infrequent bowel movements (less than 3 times a week)
2. Hard or lumpy stools
3. Straining during bowel movements
4. Feeling of incomplete evacuation
5. Abdominal bloating and discomfort
*Natural Remedies:*
1. Increase fiber intake (fruits, vegetables, whole grains)
2. Drink plenty of water (at least 8 cups/day)
3. Exercise regularly (walking, yoga)
4. Stress reduction techniques (meditation, deep breathing)
