KALANJALI 2023, was a "national level classical dance competition for Kathak & Bharatnatyam", organized by Kalanand Nritya Sanstha, Thane. It was a grand event conducted across a span of 3 days - 13th, 14th and 15th August in Thane, with hundred's of students participating in the same.
It gives me immense pleasure to announce that *Ms. Mukta Vartak* and *Ms. Saee Sathe*, two students of our KATTHAKII INSTITUTE who had participated in solo as well as duet categories have won prizes in both these categories.

Katthakii will showcase their piece of art on 29th Apr, Saturday at Mysore Association 4pm onwards.

The second half of this year's Vasant Manjiri Sangeetotstav witnessed the Marvelling Kathak Recital of Sharvari Jamenis. She began her performance with a Shiv Vandana which was followed by pure nritta in Teentaal. With her poise and grace, she presented some traditional compositions from Jaipur Gharana leaving the audience awestruck. The presentation ended with a Thumri which had the Rasikas speechless.
She was accompanied on Tabla by Our Guru Taalmani Pt Mukundraj Deo.
