he employee of Rent a Segway - Mumbai who deliver any of the Segway offered by Rent a Segway – Mumbai including the mandatory training in the operation of the Segway which is an integral part of the Ride.
1.5. “You” / “Your” refers to the person making a booking for a Segway Ride, any person signing these terms and conditions from Rent a seqway- Mumbai
1.6. “Participant” refers to every person who participates in a Segway Ride offered by Rent a Segway- Mumbai

2.0 BOOKINGS
2.1. When You make a booking for a Segway Ride with Us, You must read, understand and agree to all of the terms and conditions in this document.
2.2. If You are booking on behalf of others, You are responsible for ensuring that they agree to all of the terms and conditions in this document.
2.3. If a Participant does not agree to these terms and conditions, their booking will be terminated as per the standard Termination/Cancellation Policy.




3.0 GENERAL TERMS
3.1. All rides begin with a mandatory training session. Even if you have been on a Segway before or happen to be the world Segway champion the training session is mandatory
3.2. Segway Ride will operate in almost all kinds of weather; however, We reserve the right to cancel a booking if We consider the weather conditions adverse enough to affect the safety of Our Participants. If in any doubt, contact Us on the day of Your scheduled booking. Please also see Cancellation Policy.
3.3. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time.

4.0 PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
Participants failing to meet any of the following requirements will not be able to participate in our Segway Ride and will be subject to the standard Termination/Cancellation Policy – any queries should be raised before bookings are made:
4.1. Participants must be at least 12 years of age.
4.2. Participants must weigh at least 40kg and not be heavier than 125 kg
4.3. Participants must wear a helmet. Helmet will be provided
4.4. Participants must wear suitable footwear (e.g. trainers or comfortable shoes) and clothing.
4.5. Participants must be able to step on-to and off the base of their Segway unassisted (following training). The step is approximately 20 CM tall.
4.6. Participants must be able to lean from side-to-side and forwards and backwards, whilst standing upright on their Segway.
4.7. Participants must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
4.8. Participants must have adequate vision in order to safely operate a Segway, which can move at speeds up to 20 km/h, and must wear any prescribed glasses where appropriate.
4.9. Participants must have adequate hearing (or assisted hearing) or be otherwise able to understand and respond to instructions from us.
4.10. Participants must understand English in order to respond to instructions from us.
4.11. Participants must inform their Instructor of any impairment, which may affect their safety before participating for the ride.


4.12. Pregnant women, people with back injuries or other serious health problems should not participate in any Segway Rides. We strongly recommend that people with underlying medical conditions such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, arthritis, musculoskeletal disorders (e.g. joint or back problems) or any other disorder or condition that could be exacerbated by an accidental fall from the Segway should NOT participate in Segway Ride.


5.0 ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR
Inappropriate behaviour will result in the offending Participant’s Segway Ride being terminated, as per the standard Termination/Cancellation Policy:
5.1. Verbal or physical abuse against Our employee, equipment, operating environment and any third parties who may be present will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
5.2. Participants are not permitted to smoke at any time whilst operating a Segway.
5.3. Participants are not permitted to use mobile phones, cameras or recording equipment whilst operating a Segway, unless the Segway is stationary.
5.4. Participants must follow the instructions of their Guide – at all times – relating to all aspects of their Segway Ride



6.0 TERMINATION/CANCELLATION POLICY
We’re sure you’ll love our Segway ride and really hope that you do not have to cancel. However sometimes unforeseen events get in the way and so with this in mind we try to operate a simple and fair cancellation policy. Should you need to rebook or cancel a confirmed ride booking the following policy applies
6.1. Any requests for rebooking and cancellations to your booking must be made in writing via email to Rent a Segway Mumbai (the email address is [email protected]). Only when you receive an acknowledgement from us should you deem the rebooking or cancellation to be made.
6.2. If You cancel your booking more than 14 days prior to your allotted time you have the option to reschedule your tour to a new date or request a full refund of the total amount paid.
6.3. If You cancel your booking between 14 days and 2 hours prior to the scheduled booking commencing you will have the option to reschedule your tour date only (subject to availability).
6.4. If you cancel your booking less than 2 hours before the tour no option for rescheduling or refund will be available
6.5. In the case of a no show no option for rescheduling or refund will be available
6.6. Reducing booking size without the above notice – You will be liable for the full payment of original booking.
6.7. Should We need to cancel due to poor weather or other unforeseen circumstances we will refund the full cost of the ride you had booked with us. Please note that we will refund the ride cost only and that we will not accept responsibility for any travel arrangements or costs that may be incurred on your part.
6.8. We reserve the right to prohibit any Participant, prior to commencement, during training or during operation, from participating or continuing to participate in any of Our Segway Ride, if they fail to meet the General Terms, Participant Requirements or do not maintain Acceptable Behaviour, as specified in these terms and conditions. In such cases, a Participant’s Segway Ride will be terminated and no refunds or alternative dates will be offered.
6.9. Following training, if a Participant cannot control a Segway to the standard required by their Instructor, they will be unable to participate further. Any bookings made with a direct payment will be refunded upon request.

7.0 LIABILITY WAIVER/DISCLAIMER
7.1. Just as if you were riding a bike or going for a walk there is a risk of injury when using a Segway. We will provide sufficient training in order to minimize all reasonable risks. However, we cannot fully eliminate the risk involved in using a Segway, therefore, You acknowledge that Our Segway Ride are undertaken at Your own risk.
7.2. You agree that We are not responsible for any personal injury, death, loss or damage which may occur.
7.3. If You cause any damage, loss, injury or death, as a result of inappropriate actions or willful neglect, which has not resulted directly from Our negligence, You accept liability for these actions and agree to be held accountable for them.
8.0 REFUNDS
8.1. Refunds are only permissible as per these terms and conditions.
8.2. Refunds will be made by the original payment method where possible.
