MSLTA Masters Tournament and Camp 2025 Concludes Successfully Across Maharashtra
The MSLTA Masters Tournament and Camp 2025 concluded successfully, marking an exciting and competitive week of junior tennis featuring Maharashtra’s top-ranked players in the Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 age categories. The prestigious Masters event brought together the best eight players in each category, selected on the basis of their performances throughout the year.
The tournament was conducted simultaneously at three venues across the state — the Under 10 Masters at KSA, Kolhapur, the Under 12 Masters at the MSLTA venue in Mumbai, and the Under 14 Masters at EMMTC, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. Alongside the competition, a structured high-performance training camp was held, providing players with valuable technical and tactical inputs under experienced coaches.
The Under 10 Boys title was claimed by Shlok Aland, with Sayan Kuwad finishing as runner-up. Palash Ruchandani secured third place, while Veer Padharia finished fourth. In the Under 10 Girls category, Adhira Bhagat emerged as the champion, followed by Hrudvi Limkar in second place. Anvy Sahoo and Bhargavi Bhosale finished third and fourth respectively.
In the Under 12 Boys category, Laqshya Tripathi delivered a strong performance to secure first place. Yashvantraje Pawar finished second, while Harsh Nagwani and Ahan Bhattacharyya completed the top four. The Under 12 Girls title was won by Shaurya Patil, with Trisha Bhosale finishing as runner-up. Chahat Thakur secured third place, followed by Sateshri Naik in fourth position.
The Under 14 Boys Masters saw Sparsh Patil clinch the top spot after an impressive campaign. Namish Hood finished second, while Sarvadnya Sarode and Vishwas Chandrasekaran claimed third and fourth places respectively. In the Under 14 Girls category, Shravee Deore emerged as the champion, with Prarthana Khedkar finishing second. Janhavi Sawant secured third place, while Prisha Patil finished fourth.
The accompanying Masters Camp was conducted under the guidance of a highly qualified coaching team. The Under 12 camp was led by ITF Level 3 Coach (AITA Level 7) and MSLTA CEO Mr. Manoj Vaidya, along with Mr. Gitesh Awasthi, AITA Level 5 Coach. The Under 14 players trained under Mr. Prosonjit Paul, AITA Level 5 Coach, while the Under 10 players were coached by Mr. Mehul Kenia, former National Player and recognised coach. The camp focused on long-term player development, match awareness, and high-performance training standards.

Solapur December 27, 2025: It was a good day for Indian players as Vaidehi Chaudari entered the singles final, while Ankita Raina and. Vaishnavi Adkar claimed the doubles title at the Jamshri–Elysium Solapur Open 2025 $30,000 Women’s ITF Tennis Tournament which is being organized by Solapur District Lawn Tennis Association (SDLTA) in association with Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA), and sponsored by Oasis, Precision, Elysium–Jamshri and Balaji Amines.
In an all Indian semifinal sixth seed Vaidehee Chaudhari coming back from injury stopped the run of eighth seed Vaishnavi Adkar 6-4, 6-2 in 1 hour 3 minutes to make it to the final
Vaidehi will take on Japan’s Michika Ozeki who out rallied to upset second seed Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in a 1 hour 53 minutes battle
Shrivalli started well winning the first set , Ozeki broke Shrivalli multiple times in the second set and also lost her serve the Japanese got the decisive break in the 10th game to level the set scores, In the third set the 33 year Ozeki broke the 24 year old and the higher ranked Shrivalli in the ninth game of the third set and held on to the tenth game to win the match and make the finals
Ankita Raina playing young Vaishnavi Adkar guided her to the doubles title in a thrilling finals , the Indian pair of Raina and Adkar edged out Indo - Russian pair of Zeel Desai and Elina Nepliy 4-6, 7-5, 10-6 to win the Title and importantly 35 WTA points , While it was the 18th doubles title for Ankita it was the third doubles ITF title for Young Vaishnavi

Indians Shrivalli , Vaishnavi, Vaidehi enter semifinals at the Jamshri–Elysium Solapur Open 2025 $30,000 Women’s ITF Tennis Tournament
Solapur, December 26, 2025: Three Indians Shrivalli Bhamidipathy, Vaishnavi Adkar and Vaidehi Chaudari played high level tennis to enter the semi finals of the singles event at the Jamshri–Elysium Solapur Open 2025 $30,000 Women’s ITF Tennis Tournament which is being organized by Solapur District Lawn Tennis Association (SDLTA) in association with Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA), and sponsored by Oasis, Precision, Elysium–Jamshri and Balaji Amines.
Second seeded Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty over came a fighting sixteen year old Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi 6-2, 5-7, 6-1 in a close match , In the second set Shrivalli was broken in the 11th game by the young Maya who then held her serve to level the sets .
However in the third set Shrivalli made amends to play tightly and give a lesson to the promising Indian junior Maya and take the set 6-1 and wrap the 1 hour 53 minute match .
Shrivalli will take on Japan’s
Michika Ozeki in the semifinal.
20 year old and eighth seed Vaishnavi Adkar gave a glimpse of her growing prowess as she tackled Russian Maria Golovina 6-2, 3-6, 7-6(7) in a 2 hour 25 minutes thriller. Adkar let 5-3 before letting the Russian come back to level scores at 5-5 and then lead 6-5 before getting back into the groove and end the match.
In the semi finals tomorrow Adkar will take on another Indian and sixth seeded Vaidehee Chaudhari who scraped past a young French women Ksenia Efremova winning 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 in a 2 hour 51 minute match

MSLTA Masters Tournament and Camp 2025 Begins Across Maharashtra
The MSLTA Masters Tournament and Camp 2025 has commenced successfully, bringing together the best eight players from across Maharashtra in the Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 age groups. The tournament serves as a platform to showcase elite junior talent and provide high-quality competitive exposure.
The Under 10 Masters is being hosted at KSA, Kolhapur, the Under 12 Masters at the MSLTA venue in Mumbai, while the Under 14 Masters is taking place at EMMTC, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
The Masters Tournament features Maharashtra’s top-performing players, selected based on their rankings, and is complemented by a focused training camp aimed at technical and tactical development.
The Under 12 camp is being conducted under the guidance of ITF Level 3 Coach (AITA level 7) and MSLTA CEO Mr. Manoj Vaidya, along with Mr. Gitesh Awasthi, an AITA Level 5 coach. The Under 14 players are being trained by Mr. Prosonjit Paul, AITA Level 5 coach, while the Under 10 players are being coached by Mr. Mehul Kenia former National Player and recognised coach. This experienced coaching team is providing well-structured training sessions and professional guidance to the young athletes.
The MSLTA Masters Tournament and Camp 2025 continues to reinforce MSLTA’s commitment to nurturing grassroots talent and strengthening the competitive pathway for junior tennis players across the state.

Aditya Balsekar Clinches Singles Title at MSLTA–Matunga Gymkhana All India Ranking Men’s Tennis Tournament 2025
State player Aditya Balsekar emerged as the standout performer, winning the Men’s Singles title, while the duo of Aditya Balsekar and Madhwin Kamath (Gujarat) captured the Men’s Doubles title at the MSLTA – Matunga Gymkhana All India Ranking Men’s 1 Lakh Tennis Tournament 2025, which concluded successfully at Matunga Gymkhana, Mumbai, from 13th to 19th December 2025.
In the Men’s Singles final, second seed Aditya Balsekar (Maharashtra) produced a strong comeback to defeat qualifier and top seed Madhwin Kamath (Gujarat) in a gripping three-set encounter. After dropping the first set, Balsekar displayed great resilience and consistency to win the match 2/6, 6/3, 6/2, securing the singles title in impressive fashion.
The Men’s Doubles final saw top seeds Madhwin Kamath and Aditya Balsekar combine effectively to claim the championship. The pair defeated the second-seeded team of Anup Bangargi (MH) and Nirav Shetty (MH) with a convincing scoreline of 6/3, 6/2, showcasing excellent teamwork and dominance on court.
The prize distribution ceremony was held in the presence of Mr. Nanik Rupani, President of Matunga Gymkhana, Tournament Director Mr. Rohinton Dadyburjor and Coach Mr. Navdip Singh and Mrs. Sonal Vaidya.
