There is a difference between knowing that something is bothering you and being able to put it into words.
When Seema first came to me, she was used to giving a lot in her relationships but found it difficult to express what she needed.
She often carried things silently and hoped the other person would understand.
Our work was not about giving her ready-made answers.
It was about helping her understand what she was feeling, what she needed, and what she wanted to say.
Over time, she became much more comfortable expressing her feelings, needs and boundaries clearly.
One line from her testimonial captures the kind of work I believe in:
“She does not tell you what to do. She helps you understand yourself and find your own answers.”
That matters a lot to me.
Good mentoring should not make you dependent on someone else’s judgement.
It should help you become clearer about your own feelings, needs and choices.
Save this if you’ve ever found it easier to carry things silently than say what you need.
