India-Pakistan rivalry will find a new arena - Time to support Team India in world Mixed Martial Arts ( MMA ) Championship

On November 28th, the India-Pakistan rivalry will find a new arena, the cage of Ultimate Beatdown at Johor Bahru, Malaysia, where 2 athletes from Team Relentless, the fight team out of Evolution Fitness & Combat Sports Academy, will be taking on their Pakistani rivals.
Sanjivan Padwal and Susovan Ghosh from Evolution Combat Sports Academy, Mumbai will be taking on Ahmed Mujtaba and Faizan Khan from Pakistan respectively at Ultimate Beatdown, Malaysia's longest running MMA promotion. Both Sanjivan and Susovan are a part of Team Relentless, a group of fighters and combat sports athletes from across India, who compete across Asia. With wins in various disciplines like Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing under their belt, the team has acquired a reputation as a tough bunch in the last couple of years.
With Team Relentless team captain Chaitanya Gavali having won 2 championship belts in as many months, the first Indian to have won a championship belt in a foreign promotion, the other team members are itching to prove their mettle too.
According to head coach Jitendra Khare, this has resulted in the Indian's having a target on their backs. "We have never fought easy opponents, and never will. However we will not be stepping stones for anyone."
Both Sanjivan Padwal and Susovan Ghosh had prior martial arts experience in Karate but honed their MMA skills under the tutelage of Jitendra Khare and Darren De Silva, owner and head coach of Fight G, Singapore. While Sanjivan owns an MMA gym of his own, Fit and Fight Club at Navi Mumbai, Susovan Ghosh is a Mixed Martial Arts Fighter. All the best to Team India.
