▶️ Warming up and stretching before exercise is essential for several reasons:

1. **Increased Blood Flow**: Warming up raises your heart rate and increases blood flow to your muscles, which helps deliver more oxygen and nutrients. This prepares your body for the physical exertion it's about to endure.

2. **Improved Muscle Elasticity**: Stretching during warm-up sessions enhances muscle elasticity and flexibility. This reduces the risk of injury during exercise by making muscles more pliable and less prone to tears or strains.

3. **Enhanced Joint Flexibility**: Stretching helps to lubricate your joints and improve their range of motion. This is crucial for activities that involve repetitive or dynamic movements, as it allows your joints to move more freely and reduces the risk of joint-related injuries.

4. **Mental Preparation**: Warming up mentally prepares you for the upcoming exercise session. It allows you to focus your mind on the task at hand, improving concentration and coordination, which can lead to better performance.

5. **Injury Prevention**: Perhaps most importantly, warming up and stretching help prevent injuries. By gradually increasing your heart rate, warming up allows your body to transition from a state of rest to one of physical activity safely. Stretching helps to lengthen tight muscles and reduce muscle tension, which can help prevent strains and sprains.

🥗Food and exercise 🏃‍♀️go hand in hand.

Most people understand that to be ‘healthy’ you need to eat the right foods but did you know that if you pair it with exercise you can reap so many more benefits from this.

By participating in regular movement every day, you can not only improve your health, but lower the risk of developing illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, alleviate depression, and assist with dementia.

Physical activity doesn’t need to be strenuous, it just needs to move your body and slightly elevate your heart rate.

How much do you move your body every day?

Is your child prep ready?
It may seem a while away, but there's no time like the present to start preparing your child for the journey that lies ahead of them.
Heading to school is an exciting time for both kids and parents, the change in environment brings new challenges, new dynamics, new growth and new experiences to family life.
Mastery of motor skills influence children's ability to cope with the new experiences and to complete everyday tasks such as: moving around safely, dressing, sitting upright, sensory and emotional regulation. Motor skill mastery can also increase your child’s confidence playing on the playground, running, jumping and taking part in sports. Perhaps most importantly having appropriate strength and endurance will help your child manage the physical needs of a full school day.

We provide in offline/online fitness sessions for different age groups:

ATHLETES (18+)
