🚨It’s time to Debunk some Myths!🚨
MYTH: Carbs & Sugar makes you fat.
FACT: A Big NO! Too many calories makes you fat. If you are eating under your maintainance calories, then it won’t harm you.
MYTH: Lifting weights makes you bulky.
FACT: The only way you are going to bulk up is if you eat more than your maintainance calories. If your calories are under maintenance/deficit, lifting weights is just going to help you lose fat and help get you stronger.
MYTH: Green Tea helps you lose fat
FACT: In simple words, nothing will help you lose weight if you are not under your maintainance calories.
MYTH: Core workout burns stomach fat.
FACT: There is no such thing as spot reduction. You will have to work on getting your overall fat percentage down by eating in a deficit.
The only thing it’s going to do is make your core stronger.
MYTH: Olympic lifting & Powerlifting are injury prone sport.
FACT: Injuries can happen anywhere - while walking, running, getting out of bed, playing any other sport,etc. Injuries happen when people are attempting movements without learning the proper technique or trying to lift more than their physical capacity.
Keep your ego aside and TRAIN SMART!

Listen to your body!
Your body is an amazing machine. Especially when you are on a calorie deficit phase, your body will tell you if your calories drop too low. You just have to listen to it. Sometimes it does get annoying and difficult to calculate all those calories, that’s when you have to be mindful of what your body says and eat accordingly. One day of extra calories/food won’t affect your progress.
