Today, I was feeling extra zen — not one bark flew from my lips. Some dogs think barking is the way to go, but me? I'm the introvert of the canine world. Barking? Nah. Too much drama and noise for my taste. Besides, in this calm home, everything is chill. Minimal strangers at the door, no neighbors, and zero barking dogs next door. The is unmatched.

I think my humans suspect I’m secretly a ninja or maybe just a very well-trained undercover agent who knows barking brings consequences. In my old place, every bark meant "shush" or "sit." So yeah, I learned silence is golden. When you’re older like me, energy slows down, and even the silliest human don’t get my vocal cords twitching anymore.

Plus, when I’m not feeling 100%, or if I’m a bit foggy from long naps or mysterious doggy aches, I keep my voice down to a whisper. Maybe I’m just silently judging the noisy pups. They could learn a thing or two about restraint. Or maybe my secret is I’m just too cool to bark!
