The Indian cricket team has announced its squads for the upcoming one-off Test and three-match ODI series against Afghanistan in June 2026.

Shubman Gill will captain India in both formats, while KL Rahul has been named Test vice-captain. Senior players Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja have been rested for workload management.

Young talents Gurnoor Brar, Manav Suthar, Harsh Dubey, and Prince Yadav received maiden call-ups after impressive domestic performances. Ishan Kishan also returns to the ODI squad.
