October Coaching Intake is OPEN!

It’s a strange time of year.

The holidays are over. The sun has disappeared. There’s not a lot happening.

But, the good news is that means it’s probably the best time of year to commit and focus on something.

It can be easy to let the next 3 months bypass you and go into the new year no better than you did last year.

After all you probably don’t know what goal to be working towards right now, and you’re probably feeling lethargic, unmotivated and out of shape off the back of summer which isn’t helping.

I’ve got the exactly solution that can help you instead use this time to transform your physique and lifestyle.

Want to know more about it?

DM me the word “transform” and we’ll put the plan in place 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Ever wondering what a lifestyle transformation looks like?

This result from is a great example of that.

Flexibility with rigidity. And 18kg down in just 16 weeks.

Like a lot of people, he was stuck in a bit of a rut when he originally reached out to me about coaching.

His nutrition was all over the place and training had before non-existent. His confidence was massively damaged.

So we simply put together a plan that he could stick too, that worked for him but also ticked the boxes. And this is what lifestyle coaching is all about.

One of the most impressive things here though was really the mindset shift I seen and the belief and confidence he started to have in himself.

Super work altogether here!

Want to achieve great results, while still being able to have a life?

Don’t waste anymore time - shoot me a message today 👊🏼

Want a life changing result like this?

You’re probably sitting now wishing it was you.

There’s no reason why this can’t be you too though. But you must be willing to commit to a process.

You need to be willing to put something in, to get something out.

How have all these clients achieved these results with me?

They all:

The result of all this?

They’ve got into the best shape of their lives, built a new wave of confidence and in a much better place mentally!

Here’s something you should stop doing.

Stop comparing your own fitness journey with others fitness journeys.

Whether that be someone else’s biceps, the shape of their abs, their overall physiques, for females it might be someone’s glutes etc.

That person’s journey is different than yours.

I’m sure you’re heard the phrase “comparison is the thief of joy” and its true.

I see and hear young guys do it all the time.

If you’re a lad who’s in first few years in the gym and your comparing yourself and your progress to the likes of Josh Bridgman, Brandon Harding, Rob Lipsett, Mike Thurston etc then you’ll never feel like you’re progressing or be happy in your own physique.

I’ve done it before too. I know what that’s like and I now snap myself out of it when I see myself doing it.

You need to remember these guys have been training for 5, 10, 15 years now, some have crazy genetics and some are just using steriods. So you’re comparing their chapter 10 to your chapter 1 or 2.

So remember that when you find yourself wondering why you’re not looking like that after a year or two of training.

Focus on yourself. Focus on your journey and your progress.

Then maybe when you’re own chapter 10 you can compare yourself to your own chapter 1 and appreciate the progress you’ve made.

Want help along the way? Then shoot me a DM and let’s have a chat ✌🏼

Sometimes you just need to take a step backwards in order to start moving forward again.

You’re not failing, you’re learning.

ROUTINE IS THE 🔑

When it comes to making real progress with your fitness, or even any aspect of your life, there’s one that I believe is the real key - Your Routine.

I see so many people who have no routine in place, and try to just wing things and hope for the best.

They eat sporadically.

They wing their training days.

They don’t have any set sleeping pattern.

They don’t have a set morning and evening routine.

They literally just go with the flow and hope for the best. And then can’t understand why they aren’t getting results🤷🏻‍♂️

But they don’t realise that doing that is only pro longing their progress and results, or could even be the reason they are failing each time.

If you looked at people who are in great shape, building their own business, doing well in life. They will nearly always have a set routine that allows them to tick the boxes each day and continue moving forward.

When it comes to your fitness, if you’re serious about getting results, you need to have some sort of routine in place.

I know personally, if I’m out of routine at all, it makes life so much harder for me and I tend to struggle to make the progress I want.

But when I am in routine, everything feels easy.

Right now, have you got a solid routine in place?

Or is it the thing that you’re missing right now?

It could be the difference…

Quality Push Session had this morning, fuelled by a touch of birthday celebrations! Will post up the highlights tomorrow.

In a good flow at the moment with training and enjoy it a lot. The beats have now added to that 👀

But also, it is nice to train in a different environment every once in a while to keep things fresh! If you find there’s a day you’re maybe struggling to get going or don’t really fancy your session, go to a different gym and it might just do the trick!

Ready for another big week ahead. Starting off with getting a session in with another training partner on Monday!

Have a good weekend guys ✌🏼

Cathal’s transformation isn’t complete, but I just wanted to highlight here how you can change your physique and shape when you improve your ability to train.

Training properly is a skill that takes time to learn. Even for myself as a coach, I’m constantly looking to improve my training ex*****on, form, intensity etc.

When Cathal came to me months back, he was new to the gym and training. So it’s naturally taken him time to build up that confidence and skill to train.

It’s still not perfect or where we want it but it’s improving as time goes on which is exactly what we want.

How are we improve it?

He’s always sending me form clips across each week of different movements and I’m providing him with feedback on tweaks and adjustments to make to fix things.

He’s taking that feedback on, actioning and implementing the changes and therefore sees improvements from this.

The improvements to his ability to train, also correlate perfectly with how his body comp is improving.

So look at your training and ask yourself,

- Am I training properly?
- Am I starting hard enough?
- Am I progressive overloading?

Also have you got a coach or training partner that you can work with to improve those things?

Just something to think about if you’re serious about improving your body composition.

Need my help with it? Don’t hesitate to reach out ✌🏼

Get Uncomfortable.

With most things, when you start, it will be uncomfortable.

When trying to grow in any aspect of life, it’s gonna be uncomfortable.

In fact, the whole process might even be uncomfortable until you reach that end goal.

But the thing is, you need to get uncomfortable to get comfortable.

You’re first few weeks in the gym might be uncomfortable, you might feel uneasy. But eventually you’ll start to become more comfortable and start to progress.

The dieting phase might feel uncomfortable at times. Pushing through sessions, cardio, feeling hungry, feeling low on energy. But at the end you’ll get into the shape of your life and feel comfortable in how you look.

The gaining phase might feel uncomfortable at times. Constantly feeling full, pushing your training, gaining weight, feeling uncomfortable in your physique as part of the progress of improving your physique.

Just remember, you need to be uncomfortable over and over again until it becomes comfortable.

Be willing to get uncomfortable, that’s where you’ll grow.

As a coach, I want my clients to embrace that.
