Listening to a story helps a child imagine the characters, places, plot etc. instead of seeing it on a visual medium. This also enhances creativity, making them more imaginative and open to ideas and free thinking.
At RHF, we use some of the best age-appropriate songs with meaningful lyrics & stories and our Teachers are trained to give a visual dimension to these stories which helps nurture creativity amongst the Children using Movement and Dance.

At RHF, we use various teaching tools; Flashcards being one of them; it being excellent learning and teaching tool, especially when introducing new vocabulary or familiar words. We use them to provide small pieces of information making it memorable, interesting and fun learning.
When it comes to children and toddlers, flashcards help children improve their knowledge and ability to understand and improve visual memory.

Learning Ballet First Position.
Looks simple, but is difficult for these little dancers.
When we say make a "v" with you feet. Sometimes it's still difficult for them to corelate.
As soon as we make it into a game and say crocodile's mouth open and close, most of them get it instantly.
Choosing right words and phrases to teach children, can drastically increase effectiveness in learning. 😊

Children Listen to You when They
feel Heard!!
When a child feels that he’s being heard, he is more likely to listen, and having been understood, he will understand your point of view as well. It helps teacher and children form stronger bonds and relationships, and builds their self-esteem.
When children feel they are genuinely part of the conversation, they are more likely to really understand what they are being taught and remember it.
The effect of a good listener on a child’s learning is electrifying. When children are heard, when their insights strike their listener, when their questions open up discussions, when their ideas are taken up and explored sincerely they blossom.
During our Teacher Training HappyFeet, much importance is given for Teachers:
* To encourage the Children to open up with you by talking;
* To be patient and listen to them while they put their feelings and thoughts across;
* To respond in a sensitive way to everything that they say, whether positive or negative;
* To focus on body language and actions, so as to understand the non-verbal forms of a child’s communication.
