The Conversation You’re Avoiding Is Already Costing You

Let’s be honest: even the most seasoned leaders sometimes avoid tough conversations. We rationalize—“It’s not the right time,” or “They’ll figure it out.”

But what happens when the issue festers? Morale dips. Teams splinter. Performance suffers.

Take the case of Luis, a Business Head at a global logistics company (real name withheld). One of his top-performing senior managers had developed a pattern: brilliant ex*****on, but an abrasive, dismissive tone with peers. Complaints trickled in. Luis knew something had to be done—but he hesitated.
