From childhood having strong roots in Bharatanatyam and Kathak to embracing the world of Latin and social dancing, Gayatri's journey reflects curiosity, dedication, and the love for dancing

She joined 𝐒𝐃𝐂 as a student, starting her journey with Bachata. What began as a hobby soon turned into a true passion for social dancing.

Under the mentorship of 𝐀𝐟𝐬𝐚𝐫 & 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐭𝐚, she trained in both Bachata and Jive, building a strong foundation before expanding her journey into Kizomba and Semba.

With every class, she embraced new challenges, continuously pushing her boundaries, refining her technique and musicality, and striving for excellence with every step.

It didn't take long for us to notice how quickly she picked things up. A fast learner with a positive attitude, she was always ready to help—not just her own batchmates, but dancers across different batches as well.

Her willingness to support others, combined with her dedication and consistency, made her stand out. Seeing her potential, we invited her to start assisting in our classes, giving her the opportunity to grow not only as a dancer but also as a teacher.

As she continued to learn, improve, and inspire those around her, we knew she was ready for the next step.
We're excited to see her continue growing and helping many more dancers in their journey.

Our 9th year has been truly special.

✨ We expanded to Andheri with 3 batches
✨ We grew our Jive, Bachata & Kizomba communities.
✨ We launched SDC Kizomba dedicated page.
✨ We brought back our Kizomba socials in Andheri.
✨ And now, we're preparing for our very first Kizomba Retreat.
✨️Our 10th year has more plans for Jive & Bachata too

But beyond the milestones, this year reminded us of our vision.

SDC isn't just about one dance style.
Whether you love Jive, Bachata, Kizomba, UrbanKiz, or Semba, SDC is a home for everyone who loves to dance.

Our goal has always been to build an inclusive community where dancers of all backgrounds can learn, connect, grow, and create unforgettable experiences together.

As we step into our 10th year, we're opening our Kizomba community WhatsApp group as of now to everyone who shares Kizomba passion like us—not just SDC students.
