*Coronavirus's Letter To Humankind*
Worth a read.

The earth whispered, but you did not hear.
The earth spoke, but you did not listen.
The earth screamed, but you turned her off.

And so I was born...

*I was not born to punish you..*
*I was born to awaken you..*

The earth cried out for help...

Massive flooding, but you didn't listen.
Burning fires, but you didn't listen.
Strong hurricanes, but you didn't listen.
Terrifying Tornadoes, but you didn't listen.

You still don't listen to the earth,
when Ocean animals are dying due to pollutants in the waters.
Glaciers melting at an alarming rate.
Severe drought.

You didn't listen to how much negativity the earth is receiving.

Non-stop wars.
Non-stop greed.

You just kept going on with your life..
No matter how much hate there was..
No matter how many killings daily..
It was more important to you to get that latest iPhone, than worry about what the earth was trying to tell you..

*But now I am here.*

*And I've made the world stop in its tracks.*
*I've made YOU finally listen.*
*I've made you take refuge.*
*I've made you stop thinking about materialistic things..*

Now you are like the earth...
You are only worried about YOUR survival.

*How does that feel ?*

I give you fever.. as the fires burn on the earth.
I cause you respiratory issues.. have pollution fill the air.
I give you weakness as the earth weakens every day.

I took away your comforts,
Your outings,
The things you would use to forget about the planet and its pain.

And I made the world stop...

And now...
China has better air quality..
Skies are clear blue, because factories are not spewing pollution unto the earth's air.
The water in Venice is clean and dolphins are being seen, because the gondolas (boats) that pollute the water are not being used.

YOU are having to take time to reflect on what is important in your life.

*Again I am not here to punish you.. I am here to Awaken you...*

When all this is over and I am gone...
Please remember these moments..

Listen to the earth.
Listen to your soul.
Stop Polluting the earth.
Stop Fighting among each other.
Stop caring about materialistic things.
And start loving your neighbours.
Start caring about the earth and all its creatures.
Start believing in The Creator.

Because next time I may come back even stronger....

Welcome to Dance Ecstatica! – A deepening exploration of movement & stillness through Ecstatic Dance.

Ecstatic dance is a modern form of an ancient tribal, shamanic and spiritual practice that has existed globally in indigenous cultures for thousands of years.

Ecstatic Dance in its most simple definition is free-form movement/dance inspired by music, allowing our bodies to move freely without judgment or concern for the "grace" or beauty of the dance. This dance is an inner/outer journey of moving meditation. It develops a direct body-spirit connection, letting your body and inner guide be your teachers. It's about being present with your own energy and discovering your own dance through using this movement and energetic experience to release stuck patterns in your body, emotions, mind and spirit.

No dance experience or partner is necessary. It's a perfect outlet for those who think they "can't dance" and for experienced dancers alike. It is free-form, and not a structured dance. It is also not a social dance. It is an environment without outside observers or conversation, where you can feel safe to try new things, explore your edges and really push your envelope. It is lightly facilitated with invitations to explore movement with specific areas of the body and to explore larger themes as a whole through your movement and stillness. Much of the time it is an open dance floor for you to explore different rhythms, patterns of movement and your inner journey.

A musical wave helps facilitate that journey. Each week there will be a new soundscape for free-form ecstatic dance. The music tends to start and end slow with the majority of the “wave” being up-tempo, joyful songs. Talking on the dance floor is replaced by other forms of expression physically, emotionally, and occasionally verbally. Conversations are brought outside the dance space.

At the end of the wave, there is a closing circle that allows one-way shares of our experiences and feelings. This is a non-alcoholic, all-ages event open to all variations of physical abilities.

We believe that Dance Ecstatica is a safe container, a sacred space in which sharing positive intentions, connecting authentically with oneself and others, and spiritual exploration can take place.
