Initiated by IIT Bombay Sports in 2011, this club intends to provide opportunity for all cubing enthusiasts of IIT Bombay to learn more about cubing.

After introducing you to 4 of our insti cubers, for the penultimate post of our series, “SpeedCubers of Insti” - we have Ishan Jain, a freshman from the Mechanical Engineering department.

He has impressive personal best solve times of 10.6 seconds in the 3x3 format, 2.1 seconds in the 2x2 format and 2.2 seconds in the skewb.

Do take out some time and watch him solve the 3x3 cube in really quick time. You will surely not regret this decision!

You might think that you have seen it all after viewing some of our insti cubers dazzling you with their skills, but just to prove you wrong and astonish you further, in our next post of 'SpeedCubers of Insti', let us acquaint with another gem, Hanan Basheer, a freshmen (to be sophomore) from the chemistry department!

He has a personal best of 14 Seconds in the 3x3 event, 3 secs in the 2x2 event and some insane times in other types of cubes as well!

Watch him swiftly solve a 3x3 and get bamboozled!

Cubing Competition is here!!

Puzzle-solving is something that we all do from time to time whether it is to exercise brains in a different dimension or just for the love of it. Aavhan, IIT Bombay has yet another puzzle for you to slove as we present the Aavhan Rubik’s Open! Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, this is one where you can see where you stand in a competitive arena! Please note that the event is 3×3 cube (both hands).
Registrations are now open at www.aavhan.com and winners stand a chance to win a whopping INR 2500!

Presenting Cubology Episode 3: Stepping it up a notch?

Rubik's cube is a world-famous puzzle, but not many people know about the higher-order cubes. Though 3x3 is the most common puzzle, 2x2 to 7x7 are recognised as official events by the Official World Cube Association. There are puzzles as large as 33x33!

Not just cubes, there are more! Cuboids, Shapeshifters, twisty puzzles, corner turning puzzles, electronic cubes and the list goes on...

We are happy to announce that IIT Bombay Sports in collaboration with The Rubik's Club brought an exciting opportunity to learn to solve the Rubik's cube . The Rubik’s Cube workshop was held in Hostel-16 mess on 20th August 2019 and was a great success .

There were no prerequisites. A group of extremely talented cubers were there to help the enthusiasts crack the mystery behind solving the cube.
