India’s largest community football event. An initiative of Milind Deora.
With a view to tap the vast potential of football among South Mumbai school children and to provide them an opportunity to showcase their talent the South Mumbai Junior Soccer Challenger was launched in 2009 with 1632 players participating. The uniqueness of this event is that nearly 85% of the players are from underprivileged backgrounds. The latest edition of this event (9th QPR South Mumbai Junior Soccer Challenger 2017) will see participation of over 6,400 children.
