This run is not only about me or any challenges.
Running was a medium to get to know myself better and to evolve as a much more restful human being along with my meditations, vipasana and other holistic ways
As a human being the ultimate goal for all of us is to rest well in peace.
Well most of us always greet to a soul when leaves the body , why not strive for the soul to do that whilst in the body .
My journey of understanding myself other than people around started quiet sometime and thus running happened alongside
I have been running past 9 to 10 years and all with my shoes .
Well we are the best design or machine made by the universe gifted with all kinds of abilities that technology also can't do but we do not have that belief . We trust more on man made tech .
So shoes happened. And I seldom used to find that peace but yes I did experience solace while the runs.
It's the time when I talk to myself, I rethink, rewire, restore .
And then as my shoe that I ran was out of productions I shifted to the barefoot luna sandals .
I had no courage to try new variants and risk Injuries
So I thought to return to the basics .
Well what I mean is that we all are born barefoot.
There are different shapes
Like pronated, arches, flat and so on
they are no deformation
It's just you need to adjust the foot fall and balance .I am not telling to analyse the body but to understand and respond
So I felt more connected to Earth , more at ease, more refreshed, definitely younger and energised .
Yesterday I ran a race of 42.195 after 2 and half years by practicing for 3 months with maximum weekly mileage of only 60 km. 33 km being my longest long run.
So the idea was to enjoy not to kill myself.
I did run longer runs too
Like 12 hours
75 km
56 km and so on
But this shift to my sandals was a new realisation of my soul.
We all are barefoot born and the reason is to stay connected to mother Earth., to receive positive energy and to detox negative energies
It is the base of us
And the realisation is
The best sole is human sole that connects us to our soul
So was the medium to connect .And I am so grateful to complete the journey.
