Athens FC come out on top against Iron Born FC win 3-2

Athens FC beat Iron Born FC by 3-2 in their Second Division match held on Wednesday, 2nd November 2022.

Aaroh Pednekar, Abhishek Indulkar and Niel Patade scored for Athens FC.

Zarayus Anklesaria and Nilay Jaywant scored for Iron Born FC.

Athens FC lead 1-0, then went down by 2-1 and then overturned that to win 3-2 sealing all three points.

Athens XI record a stunning 4-0 win over Footfun FA

Athens XI got off to a flying start by winning 4-0 against Footfun FA in their Mumbai Football Association, Second Division, Group B match on Saturday, 18th December 2021.

All the four goals came in the first half. Aakash Shah opened the scoring in the 11th minute as Neil Patade doubled the lead just four minutes later. The flood gates opened after the first goal. Rohit Tulaskar added the third in the 25th minute. A crucial goal from the midfielder thereby punching the winning ticket. Centre-back Neel Sanghvi completed the first half scoring with Athens XI leading 4-0 at the break.

Footfun FA did well to restrict anymore damage in the second half as the scoreline remained 4-0 in favor of Athens XI
