Deepmalika has been founded by Shringarmani Rohita Jain. Rohita Jain, fondly called as Rohitadi by her students, has been teaching Kathak for over two decades.
She has been conferred as Shringar Shiromani and is a certified Kathak teacher by IGNOU. Using a unique blend of traditional Kathak and free form dance, she has been able to motivate and excite hundreds of students to make dance as a way of their life. Her style of teaching - based on the traditional 'Guru-Shishya Parampara', coloured with the demands of modern life, ensures that the quest for knowledge and continuous practise remains the goal for all her students.
