Dear all,
The UDAAN committee and TISS Sporting Club, postponed the event UDAAN 3.0-towards inclusivity with a discussion and dialogue among the volunteers and the Visually Impaired Cricket players and extended their support towards current scenario across the country. We stand in solidarity with the students protesting across all the campuses and condemn the police brutality against the protesting students.
As a sign of protest and condemnation, we wore black band, signed a petition, kept two minutes of silence and put posters-banners to show our support with students who are protesting.
We also believe in the idea that how a sports arena or a game can give a strong message and a sign of solidarity and protest apart from methods like art and culture. It has happened in the past that how sportspersons have extended their solidarity and sign of protest against the existing social injustices all across the globe.
