Pesi Shroff schooled gelding Brainstorm ( Dream Ahead - Roof Fiddle ) won the prestigious Dr Govind Ram Gurbaxani Memorial Trophy, in an amazing manner. The youngster looked very keen as he jumped out from the innermost draw and jockey David Probert let him go to the front. Zanzibar chased the leader till the last 400 metres and was out of steam. Trevor Patel started to work on the Braborne ( Phoenix Tower - Balamaya ) but found Brainstorm kicking clear in front and had to settle for the runner-up berth. Further behind in third was Zanzibaar and Grand Vitesse completing the frame.
