In any tradition of deep transformation, the starting point is the same: Know thyself.
In yoga, this inquiry into the self is both where the path begins, and where it ends.
Yogic philosophy offers one map through the framework of the Pancha Koshas: five interwoven dimensions of human experience, ranging from the physical body to the most subtle layers of awareness.
Contemporary neuroscience, in parallel, investigates how physiology, perception, attention, and conditioning continually shape our sense of who we are.
Embodied Koshas is an 11-day immersion that brings these perspectives into dialogue — not simply as abstract theory, but as direct investigation through practice.
The immersion is guided by Chandraprakash Naidu, a somatic movement facilitator known for his intuitive and integrative approach to embodied practice, and Ruki Roy, a neuroscientist and yoga teacher trainer whose work bridges contemplative traditions with modern science.
Together, they offer a rare synthesis of embodied philosophy and somatic exploration, sharing an integrated understanding of the mind-body system and the experience we tend to call the ‘self’.
Set at Kurma Kshetra in Mysuru — a city deeply rooted in living yoga traditions — the immersion provides a nurturing environment for disciplined practice, deep study, and sustained self-inquiry.

Something is slowly taking shape for August.
We are planning a 10-day Ladakh immersion with Myra Khanna and Chandraprakash R Naidu — an invitation to pause, step away from the noise of daily life, and return to the body, breath, and inner landscape.
Set in the vast stillness of Ladakh, this retreat will weave together yoga therapeutics, somatic movement, breath practices, reflective inquiry, and cultural immersion with the local Tibetan community. The intention is not to chase experiences, but to create space for genuine internal shifts through movement, rest, conversation, and shared living.
Participants will explore practices that support nervous system regulation, deeper body awareness, and a self-sustaining personal practice that can continue long after the retreat ends.
📍 Location: Ladakh, India
📅 Tentative Dates: 8–18 August 2026
👥 Facilitated by: Myra Khanna & Chandraprakash R Naidu
