World Donkey Day is celebrated every year on May 8 🐴 to honor donkeys and raise awareness about their importance, welfare, and the challenges they face around the world.
THIS DAY REMIND US :
* To treat every living being with kindness, dignity, and compassion.
* That even the quietest souls carry the heaviest burdens with grace.
* To honour hard work, resilience, and unconditional service.
* To appreciate the silent strength of donkeys and all animals who support humanity.
* That compassion towards animals reflects the consciousness of humanity.

In Art of Living, “Jai Gurudev” is a very sacred and beautiful greeting.
It is made of two Sanskrit words:
• Jai = Victory / Glory / Triumph
• Gurudev = The divine teacher (Guru = remover of darkness, Dev = divine light)
But in Art of Living, it has a deeper meaning 🌿
It does not mean worshipping a person.
It means:
✨ Victory to the higher wisdom within you.
✨ May the light of knowledge win over ignorance.
✨ May your inner Guru rise and guide you.
When followers say “Jai Gurudev,” they are acknowledging:
• The divinity within each other
• The wisdom of the teachings
• Gratitude for the path
It’s a reminder that the real Guru is the higher consciousness inside you.
