Proposed game plan:::
Pool Matches=Super8/Super6=semifinals=Final=Prize distribution

* Boys tournament will go through pool and higher matches. Higher matches will be knockout, Reentry can be aplicable(If it exists) according to formulated rules.

* Acc to available time, No. of overs in pool matches can be reduced to 9 or 7 anytime for any pool match, But It will remain 11 in higher matches.

* Fixures will not be pre-announced. Fixures will be decided simultaneously as the tournament will grow. organizers decision will be final.

* Last Batsman allowed to bat.

TOP ATTRACTIONS:

Ballout- If a final result cant be declared in any match, both teams will go through ballout. This concept is taken from T20ty International Cricket. Players of both teams have to hit the stumps in one over. Maximum score holder team will be considered as winner. Free hit- In fast cricket formats, Free Hit is to control negative bowling. If any bowler delivers No Ball, Next ball will be Free Hit. On Free Hit, run out and Stumping will be the only option to out the batsman. Power over- In limited over cricket, power over gives chance to make runs. Every team will get one over, in wich runout and stumping will be the only ways to out the batsman. and aquired runs will be count doubled. Team Captain of batting team will decide that which over he wants to be as Power Over. Team Photo- Every time VPL introduces something new. Creativity is core of the concept of VPL, and by luck, we have it. Team Photo is an almost A4 size Photo of a Team in cheering gesture, which will be given to every player of the team, means every participant of the tournament. It will be given in the evening. Now you can make some space on your wall, for you and your team. Commentary- We enjoyed commentary since last 3 sessions of VPL. It was first introduced in VPL-3 by an excellent organizer group of 2010 batch. Anyone can comment with Speaker System.

Readme please:
1. You will get a document containing Rules & Details of the tournament strategy at the time of registration.
2. Respect umpires and organizers. Umpire’s decisions will be final.
3. On-spot prizes.
4. Any conflict may lead to dismissal of match/teams after umpires decision.
5. Game timing can be altered to an extent according to duty schedule of intern, postgraduate or faculty teams, But they should not force us to make changes beyond the rules.
6. Postgraduates of VMMC & RML are specially invited to the event. We hope your presence will make the environment awesome.
7. Refreshments will be provided, depending on the budget of the tournament. It may also be happen that you will not get any refreshment. Water and one 2 litre soft drink will be provided minimally and essentially for one match.
8. Organizer team will provide not more than 2 new balls for one match.
9. Money prizes will be anounced after Final match.
10. Player Transfer: In previous cricket events we had seen some cases that many players of defeated team enters final team and outcome of the tournament changed dramatically. Many people raises question about such incident and it really frustrates many people. It is dangerous for a good cricket. Therefore some rules are generated in this context, Which will be followed strictly. Have an eye...

Rules for Player Transfer:
1. Person who played for one team, can not be allowed to represent another team. If it is neccessary than first player transfer will cost rs. 300. second player transfer will cost rs. 500. Third player transfer will cost rs. 1500.
2. Not more than 3 such transfers allowed in one team.
3. If Postgradute team lacks some players, they can pick fresh players from audience or player transfer from organizing team but transfer limit will be 4 persons. It will not be charged any cost.
4. In case of transfered person, Runs from thier second representation will not be considered in their VPL records.
5. Transfered person will not be a candidate for awards in his new team except man of the match.

11. RE-ENTRY

Every organizer team always put thier best in VPL. But thier innovative ideas and creativity needs some financial support. We try every time to keep entry fee low. Therefore to handle odds in team numbers and to gain some financial support, re-entry can be the only medium. But it should be in control with strict rules. It is seen that a team with repeated reentry, won the tournament. This tradition is not good for a fair competitive VPL. It reduces attraction of the game and losts credibility, which is a core feature of VPL. Rules for Re-entry(applicable only if organizers permits reentry):
1. Re-entry limit: not more than 2 times for a team
2. Re-entry Fee: Reentry fee will be generated via bid. Team who won the bid will be the candidate for reentry. Bid will start with entry Fee(default)(not less than 400 rs), but can be changed anytime by organizers.
3. In semifinals and Finals, Re-entry is not allowed
4. In Pool matches maximum 4 teams can re-enter.
5. In SUPER SIX(if exists) maximum 2 teams can re-enter to convert SUPER SIX to SUPER 8.
6.SUPER EIGHT(if exists) re-entry is not allowed.
5. Organizers can stop reentry anytime during the tournament.
