Golden Boot of Rohini Football League-2013: Lawrence Dass (Smiling Black Assassin)
Before the start of any tournament some players are expected to perform beyond a certain benchmark set by themselves & carry the burden of expectations.Playing with style & flair & delicate finishing were the trademarks.Lawrence was one of them,some teams already faced him some were new.His goal fest started with the opening game when he scored in the dying moments to clinch a win for RUFC.Scoring in almost every game he played shows his consistency whereas in his absence RUFC struggled upfront shows his class & importance.Against RFC he scored his only hat-trick of RFL.Leading the golden boot chart during the most part of RFL was phenomenal.After a lean spell during the second half of league he came back strong during the end of the league.

Man of the matches: 3
Stats above shows that he was not all about individual performances.His presence on the field was good enough for teams to think about controlling him.
With his performances he was 1 of the contenders for Player of the RFL. Golden boot in the inaugural RFL was the perfect reward for this Black diamond.

Rohini United FC: Champions Rohini Football League-2013
RUFC started their Campaign with a last minute win over SBA FC in the opening match of RFL.Back to back losses to QSFC,VBFC & draw to RRFC meant they gonna struggle during the 1st leg of the league.A quality side with slow start in the league.Big 0-5 win over Royals gave them confidence but a dent in next game when they lost 2-1 to FFFC.Some how they managed to hang on the 4th place after 1st leg.
They came back strongly in the 2nd leg and made some changes in their first team and whatever they did worked tremendously in their favor and from there on there was no looking back for them.3 successive wins in first 3 2nd leg games scoring 7 goals & conceding only 1.A 1-1 draw against SBA FC good enough for RUFC to became first team into semifinals.

Some Note-able performances in group stages against Royals (0-5), ACR (5-2),RRFC (1-4). In semi's they faced another spirited side,Spartans FC. 1-0 down in early minutes of the game when captain Anuj lead the charge of comeback and they won a close encounter by 3-2 and booked a meeting with ACR in finals on may 26.
Final against the tournament dark horses lots of butterflies in the stomach. RUFC were favorites to lift the trophy.Mohit scoring with his left foot into the right bottom corner gave them their first ever title and RFL got their First ever champions. RUFC won Final with slim margin of 1-0.

Players who made this turn around possible for them:
Mohit Anand - The guy who scored on the crunch moments for them including the winning goal of finals.
Govind Bisht: We don't know the horse power of this machine but surely he was the most important part of this squad.Attack defense you can see him every where.
Lawrence Dass: Golden boot to his name good enough to tell how lethal he was.12 goals includes 1 hat-trick.
Krishna Kuwarbi: Golden Glove for his 3 clean sheets made him 1 of the vital member of the team.
Saizi Negi: Just like a spinal cord of the team.Defensively so strong.
Anuj Mudgal: Speed,Stamina,Fast Mobility,Long range shoots,Tactically strong.
