Introducting our DIRECTOR of "jis lahore nahi vekhayaa....."

Prakash Bhatia started his theatre career in 1968 by performing in short plays for troops in forward areas.It was just a beginning for a school boy who only watched hindi movies and never dreamt of becoming actor or director in theatre.It was during his job in AFHQ he started acting in inter ministry drama competition and gradually theatre became passion and joined regular theatre groups of Delhi.He got an opportunity to work in Delhi's oldest and highly professional theatre company YATRIK headed by none other than Padamshri Joy Michael. Mrs Michael saw his potential and asked him t to direct hindi plays for Yatrik.He directed Of Mice and Men in hindi immediately followed by plays like Ek aur Dronacharya,Mahabhoj,Phandi, Rakt Beej Gourmentbabu,Adhe Adhurey,Brothers Karam azov,Ek Sapney ki Maut,Othello , Virasat,Meena Bazaar, Roshomon to name a few.He was encouraged to join Ebrahim Azkazi,s Living Theatre Academy of Drama He completed his diploma in advance Direction from Alkazi's institute.He heads Yatrik ' s hindi wing and headed Yatrik in 2008 to 2010.He has also acted in numerous plays directed by E.Alkazi Joy Michael Arun Kukreja Avijit Dutt etc.

The character is outspoken and confident as she does not mind saying what is right. A typical habit of SHRUTI involves listening to everybody but doing what her heart says or feels right. SHRUTI's eyes have their own story to tell as her true emotions can be witnessed in. Similarly; There is no middle way for Tanno, if she is into something, she is in for good. Shruti relates to her character a lot in real life and says if she sets her heart on something then by hook or by crook she is bound to achieve it which is what Tanno would do typically.

Abhishek and Sunil as Lathat (Chele Chapate)
One of the most important characters of the play, “Lathat”, is the side-arm of Pehelwaan and follows him as his role model. For Lathat the word of Pehelwaan is the final call, as he mindlessly follows what pehelwaan asks him to do. As a new comer to the stage, Abhishek, a young and energetic photographer did justice to the character with brilliant ex*****on of a ‘Chela’.

Sunil who has great sense of humour always bring life to his character. Being lathat is not tough cause of seriousness but yes; Sunil knows it all how to add wittiness to it.
People like Lathaat can still be found in the society under a more common umbrella as ‘Bhatke hue Naujawaan’.
