American Embassy Cricket Club (AECC) edged past DBF Central in a thrilling contest, securing a hard-fought 10-run victory after posting 187 all out in 19.5 overs. DBF Central fought bravely in the chase but finished on 177/9 in their allotted 20 overs, falling just short of the target.
The star of the match was Rahul Chauhan, who produced a true all-round masterclass. Leading AECC’s batting effort, he smashed a superb 77 runs off 55 balls, peppering the boundary with 13 fours and keeping the scoreboard moving throughout the innings. He then backed it up with a valuable spell of 1 wicket for 45 runs from his 4 overs, earning the Player of the Match award for his decisive impact on both fronts.
AECC’s total of 187 gave them a competitive platform, but the game remained alive deep into the second innings as DBF Central mounted a determined chase. However, disciplined bowling and timely breakthroughs ensured AECC stayed ahead of the contest when it mattered most.
In the end, Rahul Chauhan’s outstanding knock proved to be the difference between the two sides, guiding AECC to a memorable 10-run win and deservedly claiming the MVP honors. Congratulations to AECC on a spirited team performance and to Rahul Chauhan for a match-winning display.

AECC Vs PRO thirtyfive
A hard-fought battle at the pitch today, but it wasn't our day. American Embassy Cricket Club faced off against PRO Thirtyfive in a high-octane Semi-Final that kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the very end.
The Highlights:
Ayush was unstoppable, smashing a brilliant 84 off 43 balls (8 sixes!).
We posted 161/9 in our 20 overs.
Our bowlers struck early to leave them at 37/3, with Rishabh leading the attack (2/37).
A massive 125-run partnership from the opposition eventually took the game away in the 18th over.
We held our heads high and fought until the final ball. Huge thanks to the fans for the support throughout the season.

DT Dhurandhar Crowned Champions – EPL 2026
Cricket, cheers and team spirit filled the air as American Embassy Cricket Club (AECC) revived the much awaited Embassy Premier League after a seven-years break. Tournament brought together 10 teams for a full day of high-energy cricket and community spirit.

AECC vs Railways XI
played with Railways XI on Saturday January 31 at Karnail Singh Stadium. AECC won the toss and chose to bat first, posting 133 all out in 18.4 overs in a competitive contest on a slow and turning track.
Quick runs up top from Sunny Chikara (20 off 10) set the tone, while Rahul Chauhan (28) and Rishabh (24 off 17) steadied the innings in the middle. Contributions from Pankaj and Sunil Khare helped AECC push the total despite regular wickets.
Defending the score, AECC showed a great fight with the ball. Rishabh led the attack with an excellent 3/19, keeping the pressure on till the end.
Support came from Gaurav, Sunil Khare, Kapil and Nitin Solanki with a wicket each, and Vivek Kumar bowled tightly throughout his spell.
Railways eventually reached 134/8 in 19.1 overs, but AECC fought hard till the final over.
Result didn’t go our way, but the effort and spirit were right till the last ball. Onwards and upwards.

AECC vs Canon XI
Venue: DTEA School, Mandir Marg, Delhi
AECC won the toss and elected to bat first in the match against Canon XI at DTEA School, Mandir Marg.
Batting first, scored 135 for 9 in 20 overs. The innings was built around a strong performance from Rishabh, who led from the front with 39 runs off 27 balls, striking 6 fours and a six at a healthy strike rate of 144.4. His knock provided momentum during the middle overs.
Raju Sharma added valuable runs with a composed 39 off 33 balls, holding the innings together, while Vinay Tonk remained not out on 18, contributing crucial runs at the back end. Sunil Khare chipped in with 14 runs, helping AECC reach a competitive total. Extras accounted for 19 runs, which proved helpful in pushing the score past 130.
With the ball, AECC put in a spirited effort to defend the total. Vijaykanojya delivered the standout bowling performance, finishing with 3 wickets for 25 runs in his four overs. Rishabh and Vivek Kumar supported well, picking up two wickets each, while Raju Sharma bowled an economical spell of 4 overs for 14 runs, maintaining pressure through the middle phase.
Canon XI eventually reached 136 for 8 in 19 overs, but AECC’s bowlers ensured the match remained competitive until the final stages.

American Embassy Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first on a bitterly cold December morning. With the cold at its peak and heavy fog covering the ground, the start of play was delayed by around 30 minutes. Once play began, AECC made full use of the conditions and put on a commanding batting display.
Sunny continued his outstanding form with another magnificent century. He anchored the innings and added a solid 133-run partnership for the second wicket with Avinash, who contributed a composed 29 runs off 26 balls. After Sunny’s dismissal for a superb 106 off just 46 balls, which included 14 fours and 5 sixes, Rishabh provided a breathtaking finish. He smashed a fiery 65 off only 22 balls, striking 9 fours and 4 sixes, taking the total to an imposing 249 for 5 in 20 overs.
UP Fighters started their chase positively, putting on 35 runs for the first wicket and building a strong second-wicket partnership of 89 euns. However, once the early momentum was broken, AECC’s bowlers tightened their grip and never allowed the batting side to fully settle. Mayank Kukreti top-scored for UP Fighters with a well-made 73, while Ankush Vats added 46 and Nidhish Thomas chipped in with 41. Despite these efforts, UP Fighters could only reach 213 for 8 at the end of their 20 overs.
AECC’s bowling effort was led by Raju, who picked up 3 wickets for 39 runs. Sunny delivered a fine all-round performance, claiming 2 wickets for 22 runs. Rishabh, Ravi, and Ajay contributed with one wicket each to keep the pressure on throughout the innings.
AECC sealed a comprehensive victory by 36 runs, capping off a dominant performance in challenging winter conditions marked by intense cold and lingering fog.

Venue: Mount St. Mary’s School, Delhi Cantt.
RDC Daredevil won the toss and elected to bat first. Their innings never really gained momentum as AECC’s bowling kept things tight from the start. RDC Daredevil were bowled out for 129 in 19.4 overs. Ayush was the standout performer with the ball, picking up 4 wickets for 13 runs. Rahul supported him well, claiming 2 wickets for 19 runs. Among the batters, Dhruv showed some resistance and was the only one to put up a notable fight, scoring 35 runs.
In reply, AECC chased the target comfortably, reaching 132 for 2 in just 12.5 overs. Anis led the charge with a dominant unbeaten knock of 82 runs, controlling the chase with confidence. He was well supported by Nitin, who scored 17, and Ayush, who added a quick 17 to finish the match.
With an excellent all-round performance that included 4 wickets and 17 runs, Ayush was rightly awarded the Man of the Match. AECC’s convincing win highlighted their strong bowling attack and a clinical batting display.

After winning the toss, AECC elected to bat first—and what followed was pure carnage. The team stormed to a massive 311 runs in just 20 overs, losing only three wickets in the process, marking the highest-ever total in AECC’s history.
The highlight of the innings was Rishabh’s sensational 117 off just 36 balls, registering the fastest century ever by an AECC batsman. His explosive hitting set the tone for the innings.
