The 23rd Annual General Body Meeting of the Disang Sports Club for the tenure 2015-2016 will be held on 22.10.2016 (Saturday) at 7.30 P.M. at the Disang Sports Club Auditorium as per the following Agenda :

· Reading out of the minutes of the 22nd Annual General Body meeting held on 18.09.2015 and adoption of the same.
· Presentation of Hony. General Secretary’s report
· Presentation of yearly audited accounts by the Hony. Treasurer.
· Discussion and adoption of Hony. General Secretary and Treasurer’s reports.
· Member’s proposal for amendment of Bye-Laws, if any
· Consideration and adoption of proposals, if any
· Election of Office Bearers for the tenure 2016-17.
· Members’ suggestion
· Address by President
· Vote of Thanks

The Annual GBM will be followed by short programme of Ghazals to be performed by Akansha and Prosenjit.

A sumptuous Dinner is organised for the Members and their families.

Sub : NOTICE FOR ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING

This is for general information of all the members that Annual General Body Meeting of the Disang Sports Club for the tenure 2016-2017 will be held on 16.09.2016 at 8.00 P.M. at Disang Sports Club Auditorium.

A new committee for the tenure 2016-17 will be elected in the said meeting. Accordingly members are requested to submit their nomination on or before 13.09.2016. Nomination papers are available with the undersigned. Last date of filing nomination is 13.09.2016.

Posts for which the nominations are requested are as under : :

Any resolution , duly proposed by a member having voting rights and seconded by two members having voting rights , should be forwarded to the General Secretary, Disang Sports Club on or before 13.09.2016 for consideration to place in the meeting for discussion. However, the resolution will be placed in the meeting subject to approval by Club Committee.

The Agenda of the AGM would be fixed as per the laid down and standard procedures prescribed in the Club Constitution .

For Team DISANG 2016

Dear Sir/ Madam
At the very outset I offer my unequivocal thanks and gratitude for all your help and encouragement to the Children during the“Children’s Weekend 2016“ Programme held at “Disang Sports Club” from 30th June to 2nd July, 2016. It was wonderful to see many of our members/spouses reaching out to the children these three days, giving them company and support during this unique annual event dedicated to the Children.
The talented children on their part have exhibited their skill in organizing the event, performing cultural events and camaraderie in sharing responsibilities. The team led by Kaustabh, Swapnil, Prerona, Prgyanabh Samprit,Vishal, Isha and many more has proved that constraints of time and resources cannot holdback talents by reaching zenith of success in every event conducted during the weekend. Personally, I feel the Quiz programme conducted by the children was out of the box and can easily compete with any of the reputed “National Level Quiz”. We hope that the stage of “Disang Club” will be a useful launching pad for these budding talents.
We take this opportunity to express heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Director (E&D) OIL, Shri S. Mahapatra for encouraging the children with his gracious presence, in-spite of his preoccupation, during the cultural event.
At the end, I request all the proud parents kindly to convey my sincere thanks to the children for making the event a memorable one for all of us. Also, I pray to the almighty for their success on every footstep they lay for future.

Group C : Yoga to Keep Fit or Make in India
The maximum words for Group B : 250 words
Group C : 300 words
Essays are to be hand written in A4 size paper.
The medium is English
The last date of submission of essay is 29th June,2016.

Children’s Weekend-2016

The Children Weekend-2016 will be organised from 30th June to 2nd July, 2016 at Disang Sports Club during which various competitions for children upto Class XII and cultural programme by all the Children of Disang Club are being planned.
To manage and facilitate the various activities of the Children Weekend, an Organising Committee comprising of following children has been formed.
1. President : Shri Kaustabh Kakoty
2. Secretary : Shri Swapnil Deka
3. Members : Shri Samprit Bharali Miss Prerona Saikia
Shri Pragyanabh Bhagawati Shri Bahniman Das

The children have been categorised into three groups as under :
Group A : upto Class IV
Group B : Class V to Class VII
Group C : Class VIII to Class XII
