It's summer time!!
Time to dig in some mangoes!

But there are lot questions regarding eating mango?

Will it increase my weight?

It's too fattening!

I am a Diabetic, should I have it?

Well, mango has extremely low percentage of fat. It's a great source of Vitamin A & C, has good amount of fibre, therefore it can be considered very healthy to eat.

If you are concerned about carbs & sugar, the best way is to control portion size. The glycemic index of mango is technically low, so there is no sudden blood sugar spike. Besides being a good source of fibre, it further delays the release of sugar in blood!

You can also add a protein to it like nuts and seeds, further decreasing the chances of spike in blood sugar.

It's summer time, Eat the seasonal fruit! Control portion size!

Find out the actual cause!! ..and then find a solution!

P.S- There is no harm in giving in to chocolate Cravings once in a while, but do remember excess of anything is not good!!
