On 08.06.2024, Special Olympic Bharat Bihar in association with Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhawan Patna, brought out the hidden talent of children through various types of sports competitions (Unified Badminton, Baggo Game and Bocce Game) for special children and made efforts to take their confidence to the heights of the sky, which is commendable. Sandeep Kumar, Area Director, Bharat, Bihar and Director, Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhawan, Mrs. Jyoti Parihar along with the athletes, lit the lamp and inspired the parents of special children to understand the development of children and their special qualities. Mr. Nikhil Kumar member NYLC, Sports Director SOBB Sugandh Narayan Prasad, International athlete, Gajendra Kumar, Amisha Prakash, Coach Pradeep Kumar, Raushan Kumar, and 103 Athletes with ID and without ID participated in this Special Olympics Unified Sports Fest. All these winning children were honored by Mrs. Jyoti Parihar, Director of Bihar Bal Bhavan, Kilkari by giving them gold medals, silver medals and bronze medals and certificates.

Special Olympics Bihar team won 3 medals including one Gold One Silver One Bronze in Special Olympics National Championship Cycling Being held at Panchkula Haryana, Mr. Prince Kumar of Muzaffarpur won Gold medal in 2kms time trial , shishir Kumar won a silver in 500 mts Time trial and Mr. Shahbaaz Ahmad won a Bronze medal in 1 Kms Time trial . Congratulations to all the athletes and the coach Mr. Shekhar Chaurasiya for their efforts.

Special Olympics Bihar athletes Mr. shashank Raj won a gold medal in singles Mr. Dhiraj Kumar won Silver and team SOB Bihar Mr. Dhiraj and Mr. Shashank won A silver medals in Doubles at Special Olympics National Championship Badminton being held at Guwahati Assam from 18th to 22nd March 2024! SO Bihar unified Badminton team won by 2-0 in an exciting match against Himachal Pradesh. Kudos to Bihar Team

Team SOB Bihar lost by 4-0 in their first Match with the Goa team, Bihar Boys played their best. All the best to Bihar team for their next match I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Victor R. Vaz sir for making all the best possible arrangements for our athletes and his detailed prepration for each and every aspect to made the tournament success is commendable!

We are in Goa for international Purple Fest our 33 members of special OlympicsBihar team participating in volleyball, football, Badminton and Dance Sport. Very well managed and organised.
