Batting first, RRCC posted a competitive total of 163 runs in 18 overs.

RRCC Juniors Register 30-Run Victory Over Star CC Monghama in Rahmoo

In an impressive display of all-round cricket, Ruma Reshi Cricket Club (RRCC) Juniors defeated Star Cricket Club Monghama by 30 runs in the ongoing Ansar Premier League at Ruma Reshi Sports Ground, Rahmoo, on Monday.

Batting first after winning the toss, RRCC Juniors posted a competitive total of 144 runs in 18 overs. The innings was anchored by Afraj Yaseen, who top-scored with 30 runs. He was well supported by Sameer Khan and Aakash Nisar, who contributed 24 runs each, while Anas Shafi added a valuable 20 runs to strengthen the total.

Chasing 145 runs for victory, Star CC Monghama struggled against a disciplined bowling attack from RRCC Juniors. The standout performer with the ball was Aakash Nisar, who delivered a match-winning spell, claiming 4 crucial wickets. He received strong support from Danish (Lefty), who picked up 3 wickets, while Anas and Haris chipped in with one wicket each.

For his brilliant all-round performance — scoring 24 runs and taking 4 wickets — Aakash Nisar was adjudged the Man of the Match.

Chasing a target of 170 runs in 18 overs, RRCC achieved the total with impressive batting performances. Sameer Dar led the charge with a match-winning 60 runs and was declared Player of the Match. He was well supported by Suhail Asad (32) and Afraj Yaseen (25).

Earlier, RRCC captain Ishfaq Bhat delivered a standout bowling performance, claiming four wickets, while Irfan Dar picked up two wickets to restrict the opposition.
