My pune disciples Kaushiki and Veronica performed on the occasion of Navratri. As they complete two years of online training, this is their first stage performance. Feeling blessed.

Today we are celebrating four years of Nrithyashri. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for dance with all of you.
As I look back on these four years I am deeply honoured to be a part of this journey. Thanks to all my students and my family for supporting me.

Sharing a small snippet from Ganesh kavuthuvam by my first student and senior disciple K*m. Abha

Alarippu an invocatory dance piece is performed at the beginning of a Bharathanatyam recital. It is a warmup dance that involves the movement of the face, neck, shoulder, arms and torso. A dancer is introduced to the advanced level by learning this as her first margam.
