Leading the IISER Pune Football Contingent twice in IISM, Mr. Adwait Phanse is the next recipient bagging a Gold and a Silver Medal in his 2 year IISM career.

Deepak Sharma is one of the finest basketball players we have in our campus. With a gold, silver and a PhD in Physics, he is all set for his Postdoc.

Yuvraj a.k.a Yuvi, is the second recipient of the IISER blue. He has been a part of the Basketball and the Kabaddi team achieving 2 Golds, 1 silver and a bronze in his 3 year IISM career.

Santosh a.k.a Santy is a pro basketball player and also represents the athletics contingent in IISM. He has participated in 5 IISM and has achieved 2 Golds 1 silver and 1 bronze, to bag this award.

Every year IISER Pune selects few of its Outgoing sports-persons who have given outstanding performances in their IISM careers for this award. This award commemorates their achievements and showcases the commitment that all the members have shown towards this sports competition. This year 5 students had been shortlisted for this award that was presented to them by the Director, Prof.Jayant B Udgaonkar, on Republic Day.
