🏆 NEW AT KHADAKWASLA ULTRA 2026!

For the first time in the history of Khadakwasla Ultra, we are introducing Age Category Awards across all five distances — 25K, 35K, 55K, 75K & 100K.

The categories are simple:
👨 MEN
• Below 50
• 50 & Above
👩 WOMEN
• Below 50
• 50 & Above

Each category will have up to:
🥇 Winner
🥈 1st Runner-Up
🥉 2nd Runner-Up

🏆 Recognition includes a Trophy + Gift Hamper.
💰 There are no cash prizes.
🏁 There will be no separate Overall Male/Female category.

But why introduce awards at KU?

KU has never been about the rat race.

Our routes take you through the beautiful natural landscape around Khadakwasla, Varasgaon and Panshet. We want runners to enjoy the route, experience the surroundings and savour the journey — not simply chase the clock.

The awards are our way of recognising an outstanding performance without making the event all about winning prizes.

📌 Age will be calculated as on 22 November 2026 — Event Day.

📌 Awards are for eligible finishers who complete their respective distance within the prescribed cut-off time. The number of podium positions will depend on the number of eligible finishers in each category.

So whether you are Below 50 or 50 & Above, come to KU to run your own race, enjoy the Sahyadri and create your own story.

📞 Why no phone number?
Khadakwasla Ultra involves extensive preparation and on-ground operations, particularly during the event period. It isn't feasible for our team to continuously attend phone calls. Written communication helps us track queries and ensure they reach the right person.

Did you know Khadakwasla Ultra almost had a completely different name?

When we started planning our ultra marathon in 2023, one of the strongest contenders was Char (चार) Dam Ultra.

It was inspired by the four beautiful dams our route connects—Khadakwasla, Panshet, Varasgaon, and Temghar. The name felt meaningful, memorable, and deeply connected to the region.

But after many discussions, we chose Khadakwasla Ultra.

Why?
Because our signature 53 km loop, the stunning Khadakwasla backwaters, and our long-standing Khadakwasla Parikrama tradition have always been at the heart of this event.
