Vasisthasana, or Side Plank is perfect culmination of strength and flexibility. This pose addresses 3 main aspects of the body

Vasisthasana, or Side Plank, is an especially challenging asana. It takes the challenge of Plank Pose (Phalakasana) and literally turns it on its side, offering support from only one arm, one leg, and one side of the core.
But because it’s such a challenging posture, it’s also an incredible strength builder. It effectively targets the arms, shoulders, side body, obliques, hips, and legs. It also helps in toning and strengthening the coccyx and lumar region of the spine.

The name is derived from Sanskrit, where "Paschim" means west or back, "Namaskara" means prayer, and "asana" means pose.

✅ It helps improve posture by stretching and strengthening the spine. It also helps to counteract the effects of prolonged sitting periods and slouching while working or performing other chores

SIX REASON TO PRACTICE HEADSTANDS ✨
1: Headstands boost blood flow ✨
By being in an inverted position, you're sending oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to your head—this helps with mental function and focus. Normally, your heart is constantly pumping blood upward to the brain. The headstand gives the heart a much-needed break.

BE PHYSICALLY ACTIVE ✅
Exercise is a powerful stress reducer.
Develop a routine so that you're physically active most days of the week. It can improve your mood and help you stay healthy. Start out slowly, and gradually increase the amount and intensity of your activities
LIMIT CAFFEINE ✅
Too much caffeine can mimiv the symptoms of anxiety disorder. Check your intake of coffee, tea and other caffeinenated beverages.
GET ENOUGH SLEEP ✅
Sleep deprivation can cause anxiety,band people who struggle with insomnia are far more likely to experience anxiety symptoms.
AVOID ALCOHOL ✅
Too much consumption of alcohol affects the serotonin levels and worsen your anxiety symptoms
STAY HYDRATED ✅

Unfortunately, "the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" exists only in movies. Even if you could ignore the past, I doubt that would make you happy. The past is the repository of all your experiences--the joys and triumphs, as well as the disappointments.
Without your past, you wouldn't be you. When you say you want to put it behind you, don't you mean you want to be free of all the unpleasant memories? 🤔
Well, the only place you can change the past is in the present. By not focusing on the "story" of your life--the events themselves--but rather on how you interpret and shape those events, you will start to see patterns emerging. 🌼
The patterns and habits you've developed are basically opportunities.
Unlike age or eye color or family of origin, they're aspects of yourself you have the power to change, which could, in turn, change your life. When we choose not to respond as in the past, we create the possibility of a different and better future. ✨🌸
