*Day : 6 Devi Katyayini*

The sixth form of the Mother Divine is Katyayani. She represents the energy that arises from the seer aspect of consciousness. Katyayan means seer, when you become a witness.

When you realise, “I am not the body nor the mind,” and dive deep within, you become the seer of everything. From this seer state of consciousness, energy emerges, and with it comes the power of intuition. You’ve seen this intuitive ability in our children. This is the essence of Katyayani seeing beyond the senses, knowing beyond logic. That energy is Katyayani.

Day 2 of Navaratri is when Devi Brahmacharini energy is at the epitome.

This represents the next phase of a girl child- where she studies. And learns about the world, gains knowledge. Tapas is key here.

A good day to do tapas today - meditate, fast as much as you can.

Happy Navaratri everyone! Today Durga’s form is Shailaputri: the Daughter of the mountains.

This is also representative of any girl’s journey- her first form in the world is that of a daughter!!

Anybody you think of, their emotions and their state of mind latches on to you and is reflected through you. If you keep thinking about happy people, you get happy. Thinking about unhappy things, you feel unhappy. That’s why I have said, “Don’t hate anybody.” Not for the sake of the person whom you hate, but for your own sake. Your own mind, your nervous system, will assume the form, shape, and color of that person. The most intelligent thing to do is not to hate anybody, because whomsoever you hate, you get those impressions embedded in you.
