The banana plant is quite under rated - I would say it is comparable to the Coconut tree as each and every part can be used. The flower, the fruits, and the tender stem are edible. The fibers are really strong and can be used to make strings and fabric, the leaves are used as plates, the sap from the trunk can be used to cure kidney stones.

Subabul is usually considered an invasive plant/tree here in India. But it’s good to remind ourselves that it’s still a product of nature and nature is perfect on its own !
