Agni Mudra is a yoga hand gesture designed to stimulate the body's fire element, enhancing metabolism, digestion, and vitality.

♦️ How to Perform:
Sit comfortably, fold your ring finger (representing earth) and place the tip of your thumb (representing fire) on the second joint or back of the ring finger, holding it down while keeping other fingers straight.

♦️Benefits:
1️⃣ It helps to increase digestive fire, improve metabolism.
2️⃣ It is also believed to help balance thyroid hormones and improve vision.
3️⃣ Reduce body weight, and boost overall energy and warmth.
4️⃣ It is commonly used for boosting energy.

♦️Usage:
Best practiced in the morning for 10–15 minutes.

♦️Precautions:
Avoid practicing if you have a fever, are experiencing extreme heat, or immediately after eating.

Akash Mudra, or the "Gesture of Space," is a yogic hand gesture designed to increase the ether/space element within the body, promoting detoxification, mental clarity, and improved intuition. It involves touching the tip of the middle finger to the tip of the thumb, balancing energy, reducing heaviness, and calming the mind.

♦️ How to Practice:
Sit in a comfortable meditative pose (e.g., Sukhasana or Padmasana) with a straight spine.

♦️Hand Position:
1️⃣ Bring the tip of the middle finger to touch the tip of the thumb.
2️⃣ Keep the index, ring, and little fingers extended.
3️⃣ Rest the hands on the knees with palms facing upwards.

♦️ Duration:
Practice for 30–45 minutes daily or 10–15 minutes three times a day.

♦️ Benefits:
1️⃣ Known to help reduce high blood pressure, relieve jaw pain, improve hearing, and aid in detoxifying the body.
2️⃣ Promotes calmness, aids in reducing fear and anger, and enhances concentration.
3️⃣ Helps overcome feelings of heaviness and, when combined with meditation, helps in developing patience.
4️⃣ Activates the Vishuddha (Throat) Chakra, which governs communication and self-expression.

♦️ Important Considerations
Timing: It is best practiced in a quiet, peaceful environment, ideally during meditation.

♦️ Contraindications:
While generally safe, those with severe vata deficiency or those feeling lightheaded should avoid over-practicing this mudra.

♦️Context:
It is often used to balance the five elements in the body and is beneficial during travel to prevent motion sickness.

Vayu Mudra is a therapeutic yoga hand gesture (hasta mudra) that balances the air element (Vayu) in the body, specifically reducing excess Vata dosha. By folding the index finger to the thumb's base, it alleviates gas, bloating, joint pain, and restlessness. It is practiced for 15–30 minutes daily to improve digestion, calm the mind, and reduce anxiety.

♦️ How to Perform:
1️⃣ Sit comfortably in a meditative pose (Sukhasana, Padmasana) with a straight spine.
2️⃣ Place both hands on knees, palms facing up.
3️⃣ Place the tip of the index finger at the base of the thumb.
4️⃣ Gently press the thumb down onto the back of the index finger, while keeping the other three fingers extended.
5️⃣ Breathe slowly and deeply, focusing on calming the body's energy.

♦️ Benefits:
1️⃣ Acts as a "mudra for stomach gas," effectively reducing bloating and digestive discomfort.
2️⃣ Helps alleviate joint pain, arthritis, and stiffness by reducing excess wind in the body.
3️⃣ Reduces restlessness, anxiety, and mental agitation.
4️⃣ Helps in proper circulation and nervous system function.

♦️Best Time to Practice:
1️⃣ Can be practiced for 15-30 minutes daily (can be divided into 10-15 minute sessions).
2️⃣ Best performed in the morning or whenever feeling anxious, restless, or experiencing bloating.

♦️ Important Notes
Duration: For chronic gas or joint issues, it can be practiced up to 3 times a day for 15 minutes each.

♦️Precaution:
If not for chronic issues, the practice should be stopped once the discomfort (like bloating) is relieved.

♦️Combination:
For severe joint pain, it is often recommended to follow Vayu Mudra with Varuna Mudra and Prana Mudra.

Straighten: Keep your index finger and little finger straight and pointing upwards.

▪️Duration: Hold this mudra for 15-20 minutes daily, or as advised by a teacher.

Regulates downward energy (Apana Vayu), aids elimination (urine, f***s), relieves constipation, acidity, and detoxifies liver/kidneys.
