Bajaj Pune Grand Tour Stage 2 ... who took the Bopdev Ghat KOM?
We now have the privilege of having our leaderboards destroyed by a cycle tour. Almost a hundred riders have inserted themselves at the top of Bopdev Ghat leaderboard, with our previous KOM holder being pushed down to position 98! The same has happened to all other climbs on the tour.
Stefan Bennett is now the KOM holder with a time of 10:14 and he was followed closely by and .jr Stefan beats the previous KOM time by 2.5 minutes and was over 4 km / h faster up the climb , at a speed of 21.9 km / h.
guessed 10:15 and guessed 10:13 - great guesses that win the contest!
Thanks to s for the fantastic Bapdev ghat footage!

Bajaj Pune Grand Tour - The Prologue
Being there made such a difference, what an experience!
Guess the new Bapdev KOM, win a T-Shirt!
At 7.5%/3.7 KM, Bapdev ghat is possibly the biggest climb in the Pune Grand Tour, but it certainly doesn't have the steepest bits - I think that honor will go to the bits of half Sinhagad that the riders are doing (sadly they don't go all the way up to the fort).
Current Bapdev KOM is 11:37 by
Prior KOM was 12:46 by

It can take under 40 seconds to mount a bike on the Thule ProRide. If you've got practice, perhaps under 30 - don't forget your stool!

My bikes over the years, starting with the most recent!
#1 and #7 get the most use. I need to start using #2 more, and #5 is on the trainer (though sadly gets most use as a background item for YouTube videos!)
1) Trek Domane SL5
2) Trek XCaliber 9
3) Avanti Giro FM1 (review bike, returned)
4) 91 Panther (review bike, owned)
5) Scott Speedster 10
6) Scott Subcross 20
7) Hercules Neo
This poor man's BOA makes it so much easier to get into cycling shoes that use laces. For these shoes that are normally a snug fit, I'd always have to use a shoehorn and fiddle with loosening laces before being able to get my foot even half way in. With these lock laces, they work like slip-ons while still giving you a tight fit thanks to the easy to use locking mechanism.

The Magene PES P515 is an accurate and durable spider based power meter with fantastic battery life. It can measure power upto 2500W with ±1% accuracy and performed well in my tests across multiple data points. Besides power, it also provides cadence, pedaling balance and pedaling smoothness stats. Was such a frustrating experience, got 4 punctures in quick succession before I happened to check the liner and found this nasty bu**er. This is from 5 years ago, threw them away after this and switched to tyres with better puncture protection going forward.

The Magene C606 is a relatively cheap bike computer when you consider the fact that it has a color touchscreen and navigation capabilities. Its device ecosystem, which includes a heart rate monitor and tail light / radar until allow for interesting alerts and notifications. Battery life is pretty decent and the low power mode can be game changer. The unit is solidly built and the IPX7 rating keeps it fully functional in the rain, with the touchscreen remaining responsive and a display that does not fog up!
