On the occasion of teacher's day, we would like to thank our teachers who have always been pillars of support since our club's inception and have helped us through thick and thin. Teachers are our true nation builders and our role-models without whom we would be languishing as an uncivilised and undeveloped nation. Teachers are an embodiment of knowledge and are the main reason we exist as a nation. From Aryabhatta to Mangalyaan, we have come a long way, but behind the scenes, teachers are the ones who nurtured the scientists and have been role models for all the people who went on to become successful in their lives.

Yesterday we successfully completed our Orientation Ceremony. Our event was graced by Mr. Jitendra Singh Gaur, Ex Co-convenor of SAE-NIS Efficycle.

We thank all the students for being a part of the orientation ceremony and now look forward to meeting new candidates eager to prove themselves and join the Velociracers family.

We are shocked and deeply saddened to share that SANKET MUNDE, our captain for 2016-2017 season, had passed away on 18th August 2020 due to an unfortunate road accident.
Words cannot express the sorrow and sadness we feel at the loss of an extremely talented and hardworking individual, who has been instrumental in the success of our team.
Our sincere condolences go out to his family and close friends.
May his soul Rest in Peace!

The importance of PPE cannot be better emphasized than in the current COVID-19 pandemic scenario.
: We have always taken safety precautions while operating in the workshop. Wearing PPE is one of them. While we currently are in lockdown, these photos from our 2016 season are a testimony of our safety practices.
We urge all to comply with Government lockdown regulations and in case you plan to venture out, do wear your masks and practice social distancing. After all, prevention is better than cure!!!

Today, when the world is grappling in the coronavirus pandemic, we at Velociracers continue to be determined towards our goal. Inspite of the imposed nationwide lockdown and our team members having to stay in their homes, we are still performing our non-production tasks and maintaining our communications digitally to help the team achieve its set targets.
To cope up with the new normal, today we conducted our to review the progress of subsystems as well as plan our upcoming activities.
We urge all our friends, families, supporters and competitors to follow the government guidelines and stay inside their homes. We hope to recover from this pandemic soon and get back to the production of our next efficycle.

Congratulations to the selected 1st Year candidates. You are now supposed to collect your tasks for next round from the lab on 14th February at 5 pm. Also for all the 1st year students who have missed the opportunity can come tomorrow at 5pm for the interview.
