"You are suffering because you demand a reward from every action. Act completely—and let the result die."

— Sri Krishna

The secret to peak focus and deep inner peace is hidden in these two sentences.

Most of our mental fatigue doesn't come from hard work; it comes from the quiet negotiation running in the background of our minds:

"Will they appreciate this? Will I get enough return? What if this fails?"

Krishna breaks down why this dynamic drains us:

1. The split mind: When 50% of your energy is performing the work and the other 50% is calculating the applause, reward, or outcome, your effort becomes diluted.

2. Demanding guarantees: Life owes no immediate promises. Demanding an exact return from every single conversation, effort, or relationship turns daily living into an exhausting transaction.

3. "Let the result die": Give everything you have to the current moment. Pour your full focus, skill, and heart into the duty at hand. The moment the action is finished, release it into the universe and move to the next step clean and unburdened.

Give completely. Expect nothing in return. Find total freedom in the act itself. 🪷

"Truly dualism is the root of suffering. There is no other remedy for it than the realisation that all this that we see is unreal, and that I am the one stainless reality, consisting of consciousness."

— Ashtavakra Gita (2.16)

Where does inner conflict actually come from?

We often blame situations, people, or bad timing. But in this verse, King Janaka points straight to the root of human sorrow: dualism (द्वैत)—the illusion of separateness.

The division that hurts: The moment we divide the world into "me vs. them," "gain vs. loss," or "my life vs. the world," fear and comparison enter. Where there is a "second," there is always conflict.

The changing movie screen: Everything we see—our body's condition, social standing, financial waves, and mental moods—is constantly shifting, just like images projected onto a cinema screen. If you mistake the projection for permanent reality, every scene shakes you.

The stainless reality: The screen itself never catches fire during an action scene, nor does it get wet in a flood. You are that stainless consciousness (शुद्ध चैतन्य). You observe the world, but its stains never stick to who you truly are.

The ultimate medicine for anxiety isn't fighting the world; it is remembering that you are the unshakeable awareness holding it all. 🕊️

🌍✨ It’s only a short trip called life—collect moments, not just miles. 🍃

Chase sunsets, follow curiosity, take the unexpected roads, and let the little things become your biggest memories. You’re not here forever, so don’t spend your days just existing—go out there and truly live. 🌅🧭

Dream freely. Wander boldly. Live fully. 💫

"Liberation is when the mind does not long for anything, grieve about anything, reject anything, or hold on to anything, and is not pleased about anything or displeased about anything."

— Ashtavakra Gita (8.2)

What is true spiritual freedom (मुक्ती)?

In this verse, Sage Ashtavakra strips away all mystical illusions. Liberation isn’t running away to a mountain cave or sitting in a frozen trance—it is simply a mind that has stepped off the emotional pendulum.

Here is what happens when you reach this state:

No craving, no grief: You stop projecting your happiness onto what might happen tomorrow (longing), and you stop dragging the pain of yesterday (grieving). You live entirely in the now.

No resistance, no grasping: When painful events arise, you don't fight them in vain (rejecting). When joy comes, you enjoy it fully without frantically trying to bottle it up forever (holding on).

Equanimity (समत्व): The world constantly fluctuates between favorable and unfavorable conditions. But when you are free, your peace is not dependent on circumstances going your way.

Freedom is not about having a blank mind—it is about having an unshakeable mind. 🌿
