From the uncertainties of pre-event hurdles and static event setbacks that tested our resolve, to surging ahead and conquering the overall podium at Formula Bharat 2026.
What began as a grueling battle against penalties and qualification misses transformed into a story of unbreakable teamwork, innovative engineering, and sheer determination. This unforgettable edition is one every Veloce Racing Electric team member will cherish for years to come, a testament to our electric-powered rise to the top.
Here’s Our Take:
Day 0: We kicked things off by unloading our electric warrior from the trailer, zipping through registration, and diving straight into the ETI Bay for accumulator scrutiny.
After a day packed with relentless struggles and teaks, we nailed it by day’s end-passing scrutiny on Day 0 and building that unshakable foundation for the technical battles ahead.
Day 1: Day 1 burst in with high energy as we charged into electrical scrutiny. The whole day turned into a marathon of spotting issues, fixing wiring gremlins, and pushing through scrutiny hurdles-keeping our focus laser-sharp amid the chaos.
Day 2: The electrical scrutiny grind carried over into Day 2, but we crushed it by afternoon. Eager to keep momentum, we lined up for mechanical scrutiny, only to hit snags that sidelined us. No sweat-we burned the midnight oil troubleshooting, priming for a big Day 3 comeback.
Day 3: Dawn broke with mechanical scrutiny in our sights, and we delivered: first team to smash through all scrutineers-mechanical, brake test, rain test, and tilt test—in one epic day. Cleared for dynamics, we were fired up and ready to unleash.
Day 4: Dynamics day hit hard—we geared up for acceleration but got derailed by uncertain gremlins, forcing a pit scramble. Undeterred, we fixed fast, nailed the pad test, then ripped acceleration runs, and capped it with a solid autocross push. Momentum building, one event at a time.
Day 5: Final showdown: Endurance.
We tore through nearly the full lap, just 400m from glory, when a sudden shutdown threw a wrench in it—a gut punch setback. But we stayed positive, learned from every twist, and walked away champions after all the grind.

This year’s journey at Formula Bharat came with its share of challenges and lessons. The team faced setbacks in clearing technical inspections, preventing us from competing on track.
We placed 7th overall in the Electric category and secured 2nd place in the Engineering Design Event.

Among our notable achievements, we secured a P3 finish in the MathWorks SkidPad Challenge and emerged as winners of the Altair Simulation Challenge.
