TIS BARATHEONS CROWNED CHAMPIONS - 7TH INTERCC FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

7th InterCC football tournament came to a grand conclusion on Saturday 4th April,
With
TIS BARATHEONS being crowned as Champions of Premier Cup

At the impressive presentation ceremony under flood lights, Teams & Individual awards was presented by Jitendra Dutt Sharma (JD), Avinash (Deccan rovers)

Day 4 started with knockout matches, each team fighting it out to get to the glory.
In the Premier League, TIS Baratheons defeated GSSI Strikers to cruise into the finals & NDFC (Non DOX) overcame the challenge from Inglorious Maniacs (OMS delivery) to reach the finals. It was the third consecutive finals for TIS & first one for NDFC. Both teams played entertaining football under the flood lights. TIS Baratheons who were experienced triumphed (1-0) to win the Premier Cup

In Champions League, Panthers defeated Footballo Maniaco (5-2) to win the Champions Cup

In Knockout League, Jinxed Redeemers defeated RMCC FC (2-0) to win the Knockout Cup

Individual Awards won by Chandresh Vashistha (GK-NDFC), Mohammed Imran Ahmed (Defender-Shooters), Shirshendu Ghosh (Mid-Panthers), Utkarsh Chaudhary (Striker-NDFC), Ronnie Fernandes (Player of tournament- Vencedor FC)

Achievement awards were given to Gaurab Mitra, Deepak Negi, Saikat Sinha & Richard Pereira from amdocs football team

It was inspiring to watch the teams playing on artificial turf under flood lights with sound of crowds cheering the teams. Jitendra Dutt Sharma (JD) in his speech emphasized on sportsman ship, enthusiasm, dynamism of the teams & was all praise of organizers who did exemplary effort to make it a big success. The same echoed in Avinash’s (Deccan Rovers Football Club) brief speech. Saikat Sinha (Organizing committee) in the welcome speech mentioned the Spirit of the teams & appreciated the effort from captains & teams to make it a big success.

This year for second time the event saw the participation by NGO kids from Annapurna & Magic Bus. It was great to see the energy & enthusiasm in the kids. Definitely it was a memorable night for the kids

The 7th InterCC football was inaugurated by Avinash (Deccan Rovers Football Club) message from him was “Participate with Sportsmanship”. Mini Abraham who is spearheading CSR campaign for Amdocs was the chief guest on the subsequent week, which inspired as well as encouraged the teams.

“29 Teams, 104 Matches, 600+ goals, 12 goals in a match” artificial turf, flood lights & participation by over 400+ employees, definitely It was a soccer mania for 4 days

It was the spirit of Amdocs Football enthusiasts that ultimately triumphed in the 4 day fest.
