🪷It ultimately resonates with me!
As someone who guides exercise and offers nutritional advice, I Have always emphasized on having a positive relation with the food we eat!
🌟For many, working out can sometimes turn into a way to "make up for" what we've eaten, almost like a punishment. It's familiar: eating too much out of boredom or feeling emotionally down, then feeling guilty afterwards.
🪷That guilty feeling kicks in as soon as we finish eating, especially if we feel a bit bloated the next morning or notice the scale inch up a bit.
🌟So what's the usual reaction? We hit the gym or join a workout class, pushing ourselves to sweat out those extra calories we consumed. But often, this leads right back to more overeating or even under-eating for the rest of the week.
🪷We forget to work on the underlying causes, healing emotionally, slowly changing our habits, building a positive relation with food and ourselves, finding some calming activities, practicing mindfulness, and taking a more balanced approach to our overall well-being.!
